The thriller set in Spain during the 1980s features two ideologically opposed cops are sent to a town to investigate the disappearance of two young girls. Latin American award winners included Argentina's Wild Tales and Venezuela's The Longest Distance. Antonio Banderas received the honorary Goya for his film career.
