Enrique Hernandez Saucedo, candidate of the left-wing Morena party for mayor of Yurecauro in the central Mexican state of Michoacan, was shot dead yesterday immediately following a campaign rally. An unidentified gunman shot and killed Hernandez and wounded three others. A few days ago a mayoral candidate in the State of Guerrero was also killed. Local elections are being held throughout the country on June 7. teleSUR
