The Stories Behind the Tweets, hosted by William Parra, seeks to open a window to the world, to get to the bottom of stories larger than 140 characters. In today's program: 1) Cameroon is a West African country very rich in natural resources yet ravished by grinding poverty. At the same time, in a continent plagued by ethnic and religious strife, the country has enjoyed decades of stability and peaceful coexistence between Christians, Muslims, and Animists; 2) the story of Dario Rivas, who was born in Spain but came to Argentina as a boy. His father, mayor of village and a socialist sympathizer, was executed by the Francisco Franco's fascists during the Spanish Civil War. Rivas, in a joint lawsuit with 200 other Spaniards living in Argentina, is seeking justice through the Argentine courts. At stake is personal closure and preserving historical memory; 3) Brazilians' very personal passion for soccer, which runs in people's blood and is passed on from father to son. teleSUR
