"Chavez is everywhere": ex-Venezuelan president's image seen in subway

President Nicolas Maduro has invoked the spirit of his predecessor Hugo Chavez to extol workers’ efforts in extending the Caracas subway system.
Visiting the Francisco de Miranda II Station, he told attending media that an image of Chavez had appeared on a tunnel wall.
At a rally he showed a photo of the face, as photographed by the men at the construction site.
Investment in the project he said now stands at some four billion dollars.
“With this work of massive transport, we are opening the way for everyone, happy to do it for the benefit of the population,” he said in the city of six million people.
“Look at the figure, a face. This picture was taken by the workers,” he said, smiling. “Chavez is everywhere.”
In June, Maduro said Chavez tends to appear to him in the mountains that overlook Caracas.
