Egyptian president says Trump's plan on Gaza is 'last chance' for peace in region

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump co-chaired a peace summit in Egypt's Sharm el Sheikh on Monday on Gaza's future and the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.

00:07together with U.S. President Donald Trump at a peace summit in Egypt on Monday.
00:13Speaking at the summit in Sharam al-Sheikh on Gaza's future and the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal,
00:18Trump called for a new era of harmony and a new beginning for the Middle East.
00:23Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who co-chaired the summit,
00:26said Trump's plan is a last chance for peace in the region.
00:40The Egyptian leader awarded Trump the Order of the Nile, the country's highest civilian honor.
00:47El-Sisi also reiterated the need for a two-state solution,
00:50which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly opposed.
00:54Trump's plan does not rule out the possibility of a Palestinian state,
00:59but only after certain conditions are met.
