00:10A new study has revealed that some of Europe's most beloved beaches could be completely gone by 2100 due to rising sea levels.

00:21The most endangered spot among top-rated beaches seems to be Sveti Stefan in Montenegro.

00:27It's an iconic tiny island resort connected to the mainland only by a narrow coastway.

00:34The report says that by the end of the century it could suffer a shoreline loss of over 200 meters.

00:41Next, Italy's Porto Junco in Sardinia, one of the Met's most pristine stretches of sand, could lose up to 107 meters of coast.

00:51Then comes Portugal's Praia de Benagio, the third most at risk.

00:56The area, known for its iconic caves and already plagued by overtourism, could suffer coastal erosion of nearly 70 meters.

01:04Northern Europe's coasts also face significant risks.

01:08The enchanting Varoy Island, home to one of Norway's most remote communities, could see its shoreline shrink by 58 meters.

01:17Ireland's secluded Kim Bay at number 5 is also gravely endangered.

01:22Same goes for Iceland's Rennisfiara beach, known for its black sand and dangerous giant waves.
