00:30Thank you very much, everybody.
00:32Mediators Egypt, Qatar and Turkey have signed a document on the Gaza ceasefire deal together
00:37with US President Donald Trump at a peace summit in Egypt on Monday.
00:43Speaking at the summit in Sharam al-Sheikh on Gaza's future and the Israel-Hamas ceasefire
00:47deal, Trump called for a new era of harmony and a new beginning for the Middle East.
00:53Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who co-chaired the summit, said Trump's plan is
00:58the last chance for peace in the region.
01:00The Egyptian leader awarded Trump the Order of the Nile, the country's highest civilian
01:16honor.
01:17El-Sisi also reiterated the need for a two-state solution, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
01:22Netanyahu has repeatedly opposed.
01:25Trump's plan does not rule out the possibility of a Palestinian state, but only after certain
01:31conditions are met.
01:32Sustained applause and a standing ovation greeted US President Donald Trump as he entered the
01:42Israeli Knesset on Monday.
01:44Addressing Israeli lawmakers and US officials, Trump hailed the return of 20 living hostages
01:50from Gaza and pressed for a lasting peace in the region.
01:54This is not only the end of a war, this is the end of the age of terror and death and the
02:01beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God.
02:06It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what
02:13will soon be a truly magnificent region.
02:17I believe that so strongly.
02:18This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
02:24Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu credited Trump and pledged his commitment to peace.
02:30Mr. President, you are committed to this peace.
02:34I am committed to this peace.
02:37And together, Mr. President, we will achieve this peace.
02:40My friends, this is only a partial list.
02:47But it's enough to affirm what I've said time and again.
02:51Donald Trump is the greatest friend that the state of Israel has ever had in the White House.
02:59The truce remains tenuous and the sides have not agreed on Gaza's post-war governance,
03:04the territory's reconstruction and Israel's demands that Hamas disarm.
03:08You guys know each other.
03:09Negotiations over those issues could break down.
03:12And Israel has hinted it may resume military operations if its demands are not met.
03:23Cries of joy, smiles, tears of happiness.
03:27The 20 Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip were reunited with their loved ones on Monday.
03:32They were released by Hamas as agreed under the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian Islamist movement and the Jewish state.
03:40I'm so excited.
03:44We see Elkanah in a video of FaceTime.
03:51My sister talked with him and is very excited.
03:56And she says on the feet and smiles.
04:04And she said, tell her, mom, I'm okay, I'm okay.
04:09The hostages, divided in two groups, were first handed over to the Red Cross
04:14and then to the Israeli army before being reunited with their families.
04:19This reunion marks the end of 738 days of captivity for the hostages
04:24and just over two years of anguish for their families since the attack of October 2023.
04:30For Israel, these releases are a fundamental step,
04:35but they do not mark the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
04:39The Jewish state is still waiting for the return of the remains of 28 deceased hostages.
04:49Israel began releasing hundreds of Palestinians on Monday
04:53as part of the ceasefire deals signed between Israel and Hamas.
04:57The freed Palestinians were met by cheering crowds in Beitunia in the West Bank.
05:02The prisoner's office confirmed at least one bus also crossed into the Gaza Strip.
05:07The Palestinians left earlier on Monday from Ofer prison
05:11when an armored vehicle flying an Israeli flag had fired tear gas and rubber bullets
05:16at a crowd awaiting the release of the prisoners.
05:18Shortly before the release, flyers were circulating stating that anyone supporting
05:25quote, terrorist organizations risked arrest.
05:29Israel's military has not commented on the flyers.
05:35As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel will release more than 1,900 prisoners
05:40in return for the remaining hostages held by Hamas.
05:43250 of those held by Israel were serving life sentences for convictions in attacks on Israelis
05:51and 1,700 were seized from Gaza in the past two years and held without charge.
05:57The Dutch government has taken control of Chinese-owned semiconductor manufacturer
06:07Nexperia, based in the Netherlands, deploying a rarely used emergency statute
06:13to head off what is called risk to Dutch and European economic security.
06:19According to her statement, the decision aims to prevent a situation
06:24in which finished and semi-finished products produced by Nexperia
06:29would become unavailable in an emergency.
06:33The Goods Availability Act enables the state to block or reverse corporate decisions at the firm
06:40while allowing day-to-day production to continue.
06:44The move underscores a broader European shift toward using national security tools
06:50to control ownership and decision-making in sensitive tech supply chains.
06:55The action is also the latest flashpoint in Western efforts to shield semiconductor ecosystems
07:01amid intensifying U.S.-E.U. export controls and investment screening targeting China.
07:08Polish prosecutors have charged two Russian citizens for spying for Russian intelligence,
07:19prosecutors said on Monday.
07:21One of them, who is referred to as Igor R.,
07:24was additionally charged with acting jointly with three other suspects
07:27in sending a parcel containing explosives.
07:30In July last year, a series of parcel fires targeting courier companies to place in Poland, Germany and the U.K.
07:38Western officials blame the incidents on the Kremlin.
07:42Moscow has repeatedly denied such allegations,
07:45despite a slew of evidence in court cases proving otherwise.
07:51At least 47 people have died from Mexico's torrential rains
07:56after different states around the country saw flooding and landslides.
08:00Mexican authorities said emergency services were rushing to help affected residents
08:06look for missing people and try to clean several areas.
08:26Over the weekend, the country saw devastation in some states
08:30where the flooding swept away vehicles and destroyed houses and roads.
08:36According to the Civil Protection, at least 38 people were missing in three different states.
08:42Authorities have attributed the deadly downpours to Hurricane Priscilla and Tropical Storm Raymond,
08:48which formed off the western coast of Mexico and have since dissipated.
08:56Three economists have won the 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics
09:03for, quote, having explained innovation-driven economic growth.
09:07Half of the prize was awarded to Joel Mocha from Northwestern University in the U.S.
09:15The committee said it awarded the prize to Mocha
09:18for identifying the conditions needed to sustain growth through technological progress.
09:23The other half of the prize was shared by Philippe Aegean, who teaches in Paris and London,
09:29and Peter Howitt from Brown University in the U.S.
09:33for their theory explaining how economies grow through creative destruction,
09:38which refers to new innovation in technology and business replacing old ones.
09:43The Economics Prize is formerly known as the Bank of Sweden Prize
09:47and was created in 1968 in memory of Alfred Nobel.
09:52The five Nobel honors were announced last week.

10:14Well, I lived inrift for three three, and it was 1111 days.
10:20I lived Kent.
10:21I lived in the U.S.
10:21And after that I didn't feel anything, because during the time of being in the prison we forced us to block all the emotions that we have.
10:51The war, which destroyed their brain, destroyed their neurons, destroyed their neurons, destroyed their neurons.
11:20And today we have to find out the most optimal, the most efficient, the most easy and easy instruments to restore this neuroplasticity and neuroplasticity.
