00:00So yesterday in the House of Commons, Kemi Badenoch set out all of the times when the last Conservative government described China as a threat.
00:08But in basic terms, if two people, and the two people are alleged to have gone into work in the House of Commons
00:15and taken information and passed it to another government for purposes of spying,
00:21as far as we're concerned, this should be enough to bring a trial, and the CPS thought it would be enough to bring a trial as well.
00:28They asked the government to provide certain information, which the government has not done.
00:33We are asking the government, first, to provide that information, and second, to explain why it has so far chosen not to do so.
00:40It is not right that there is a potential major miscarriage of justice, because the government has not provided the information the CPS has asked it to.
