00:00Dakar 2026, the final day, and wait till you see what happened in the bikes.
00:17They need to push a lot, and they need to believe until the end.
00:22Party atmosphere at KTM this morning, despite Luciano getting ready for a Dakar title showdown.
00:27But we all psych ourselves up differently, and it was very different over a Honda.
00:31Relaxed versus tense, pressure versus chill.
00:34But as the old saying goes, the proof of the preparation pudding is in the end of rally eating.
00:43A little nervous. I'd like to enjoy, but still have to, still have a little bit of work to do, so.
00:53Today is the last dance, the last stage, so.
00:57Victory almost guaranteed for Braybeck.
00:59A 3 minute 20 lead, opening time bonuses, and a short stage.
01:02Ricci cruising to a third title.
01:04Luciano was flying and leading the stage, but not by enough.
01:07And then, a Ricci wrong turn, and Luciano arrived just before the American.
01:12None of us, even then, could work out what it meant.
01:15Dude, I almost just died.
01:16Holy shit.
01:17Thanks, dude.
01:18You won.
01:19Good fight.
01:20Oh my gosh.
01:21Hey, wait.
01:22Just wait.
01:23Just wait over here.
01:24I call because he's too complicated.
01:25David, check.
01:26David, check.
01:27Oh my gosh.
01:28Hey, wait.
01:29Just wait over here.
01:30I call because he's too complicated.
01:31David, check.
01:32David, check.
01:33David, check.
01:34Oh my gosh.
01:35Oh my gosh.
01:36Hey, wait.
01:37Just wait over here.
01:38I call because he's too complicated.
01:39David, check.
01:40Oh my gosh.
01:41Hey, wait.
01:42Just wait over here.
01:43I call because he's too complicated.
01:45David, check.
01:46This is what he's got.
02:12I don't know, I took the wrong left and put me in a bad situation, and here we are.
02:39I never stopped dreaming, I never stopped believing, and I say to all my people around,
02:45I don't know why, but I still feel it's possible.
02:59Right now we are the only two brothers in the world to win the car, and here is the papa.
03:06I have cried every single time I've seen those shots. Unbelievable.
03:13And there was redemption, resolution, and resurrection in original by Motul.
03:21Benji Melok was in floods of tears last year after missing out on the title at the last cast,
03:25but was in tears once again today for entirely different reasons.
03:29I think it's the last one, I marked people a little, and me too.
03:37I took a lot in the last year, but since the beginning I'm here for it.
03:43I've been running after this thing for years, so I've always dreamed of it, but it's done.
03:51Congrats, Benji.
03:54And in Rally 2, KTM again celebrated a comeback win over Honda.
03:58Bass World KTM's Tony Mullich overturned Honda's best rookie Preston Campbell's lead on stage 11,
04:04and he triumphed at the fourth time of asking.
04:06Dakar drama at its finest, after 49 hours of racing, Benavidez triumphed by two seconds from Brebec,
04:22the closest ever result in Dakar history.
04:26And in cars, the podium was up for grabs.
04:28Now it's one last short stage, see who will manage to have the second on his time.
04:45105K to a final finish by the Red Sea in Yambou.
04:49Ekstrom won a fourth special, third overall with Emil Bergfist for the second year in a row.
04:54That means no sixth podium for Seb Lerb,
04:57and he must be fed up with missing out on the one trophy he covets more than any other,
05:01but he can't keep away.
05:02Second today, fourth overall.
05:04Ekstrom's podium, a great result given the magnitude of the event.
05:09And I think the fight back from that day to the end to finish on the podium is a good recovery,
05:16but still our dream was to win the race.
05:18I have to be honest.
05:20At the end it was a good rally, we finished fourth overall,
05:22so it's not bad.
05:24It's a victory for that shot, so that was the goal.
05:27And Nasser won the rally, he did an incredible rally.
05:30Second place in the Ultimates,
05:31went to one of Rally Raid's most successful competitors,
05:34a former winner in both cars and bikes, Nani Roma,
05:36just short in the end,
05:38but it's been a pretty good month for Ford Racing.
05:39Six wins, they're the most successful manufacturer.
05:44But there can be only one king,
05:47and this one is a titan of our sport.
05:50Countries carve statues in honour of people like him,
05:54masters in their field.
05:55But his mastery is carved into the rocks of the desert itself.
05:59Three in South America, and now three here in Saudi.
06:02Bravo!
06:07Bravo!
06:10Bravo!
06:10Bravo!
06:10Bravo!
06:26Benendrin!
06:28Yeah, I am so happy.
06:40You can feel a bit of emotion and it's not so usual with you.
06:46Yeah, because...
06:48It's not easy because it's 13 days, you know, in the desert and yeah, I am really so happy.
07:07The word Nasser in Arabic means victorious and there could not be a more appropriate name for Alatiyah, the man who rules the sands.
07:18His final margin of victory was 9 minutes and 42 seconds over Nanny Romer, but how did he do it?
07:30So, here's the story from A to Z.
07:32You wanna win Dakar? You gotta listen carefully.
07:35We got Henk in the place who shows it in his face.
07:37Matthias M.E. was a triple winner.
07:39Carlos Sainz buses out Rajee.
07:41And Mitch got three. He won stage three.
07:44Slam your body down and wind it all around.
07:46Slam your body down and wind it all around.
07:48Slam your body down and wind it all around.
07:49If you wanna win like Nasser, gotta get past your friends.
07:52A minute since Nanny Romer, on Seb we can depend.
07:56If you wanna win like Nasser, try and drive like Jackie Ix.
08:01Winning here ain't easy, but Alatiyah's on number six.
08:05I want really, really, really win Dakar.
08:08It's been a procession for Rokas Pashuska in the stocks.
08:11There's never been a Lithuanian Dakar winner, but this year we have three.
08:14Closure for Rokas after losing the T4s on the final day in 23.
08:18Never easy Dakar, you know.
08:19If it were easy, it would be not interesting to do.
08:21But yeah, happy, happy, happy, really.
08:22For the team, for the fans, you know.
08:23It's really amazing.
08:24You can't win with kids, they say.
08:25Pao Navarro dismissed that to claim the challenge's crown at 21.

08:28We're just two kids, that we love this thing and we...

08:55doubled up, triumphing again for a consecutive title in SSVs.
08:59They led from stage four.
09:03You know, it's one of the hardest off-road races in the world,
09:06and just being able to be here and competing is a win on its own,
09:10and I'm just super happy to be here at the finish line.
