Episode 6: The Proxy – The Source
CCTV footage shows a lone man wandering the street, twitching his fingers, talking to himself. A crazy man.
Ashen, Tom and Sarah walk down the road. The crazy man grabs Stuart and starts talking right in Ashen’s face; “I know every thing, I know what you’ve been through”. The crazy man carries spouting nonsense about not being able to trust the government or the police, but one line resonates with Stuart, “…the ones with the blue eyes”. The crazy man runs off.
The gang head to Tom’s old workplace, Grove Street Media, to further investigate the contents of the mysterious USB stick.
The open the content and see a blueprint for Peter Baker’s warehouse. There is another level, below the basement where there appears to be more crates, like the one Tom was trapped in. Next they find DNA data, they are making clones, human clones, PROXIES.
Tom turns to Sarah, telling her, accusingly, that all Peter wanted to know about was her. Ashen chips in that she has gladly come along when most people, would have run. Sarah starts to cry.
Stuart floats the idea of getting Tom to the hospital, due to his missing finger. Tom stomps off.
Ashen and Sarah follow him to the roof. Tom’s hand is hurting where his finger was cut off. Sarah cups his hand in hers. A white light glows. Tom’s finger returns, his wound is healed. Where did Sarah get these powers?
