00:00But at this point, I don't even know what direction they're going in.
00:04Because, again, like I said, they're going to be a contender
00:07if Lamar was healthy, if everyone was healthy
00:09and all the pieces were working.
00:10I mean, Zay Flowers was going off,
00:12and Lamar was playing well before he got hurt,
00:14but that's the case every year.
00:15Was this?
00:16I was just about to say.
00:17Like, you can't – it's like in the NBA, teams do this too.
00:22It's like, oh, one more year.
00:24It's like the Clippers.
00:25Like, B, you know this.
00:26John, you know this.
00:27The Clippers, year in and year out.
00:28Well, what if Kawhi was healthy this time?
00:30Like, what if Paul George and him worked together this time?
00:34It's like year in and year out, they kept banking on that,
00:37and it never happened.
00:39At some point, and I think the Ravens are probably having this conversation,
00:44and if they're not, then they're not planning properly for the future.
00:48At some point, you have to sell that what if to somebody else
00:51for two first-round picks.
00:53But do you think a team would give up two firsts?
00:56Absolutely.
00:57Yeah, he's a multiple-time MVP.
00:59This guy's a multiple-time MVP, and win healthy.
01:03Win healthy, and you can sell that win to somebody else
01:06because you could go, hey, man, that's a freak injury.
01:08Throwing the ball, he just hit a helmet.
01:10Sure.
01:11Otherwise, other than that, he's been healthy.
01:13You can sell that.
01:15You can sell that to the Cardinals.
01:17You can sell that to Carolina, a team that may not want to reset.
01:22They may want to inject a true starter.
01:25You can sell that to the Jets.
01:28There are organizations that you can sell that to, to two first-round picks.
01:32I mean, if the Colts don't have first-round picks,
01:34but there are teams that you could sell that conversation to
01:38because of Lamar Jackson's history and the accolades that he's accumulated in the NFL.
01:44But if I'm the Baltimore Ravens, at some point, it's just not working for me.
01:50John Harbaugh was no longer working for me.
01:52He's great in New York.
01:54He was great here for a while.
01:55But at some point, this isn't working for me.
01:59And I think that might be the conversation that they're having.
02:02Lamar's been great.
02:03He's got multiple MVPs.
02:04He's going to go up in the Ravens Hall of Fame or Ring of Honor or whatever they have there.
02:09But as of right now, for us, we're coming up like this too many times at the end of a
02:14season.
02:14And we just need to clean house at this point and start over.
02:18We gave this a run.
02:19He's been fantastic.
02:20But, you know, sometimes you got to sell that fantastic to somebody else before it burns you.
02:26I'll take it a step.
02:27I'll take it a step further.
02:29Injecting it to my veins is similar to Miami Dolphins
02:31because the Miami Dolphins actually have capital.
02:33They would love it.
02:34They would do it.
02:35And he actually was, remember, it was circling before.
02:38If he was going to leave, was he going to go to Miami?
02:40Let's talk about it.
02:41He's a Florida boy.
02:42Malik Willis swap?
02:43They just paid him?
02:45But even then, like, the Malik Willis swap will be a bridge to you to get to your next quarterback.
02:51You know you have those years where you bridge over.
02:53So you won't fall off production-wise with him because you still have a good wide receiver core.
02:58You still have necessary to run it back in a defense.
03:01That's a great picture.
03:01But that's a great picture for sure.
03:02But if you're looking at it, if you can get Miami to commit to that, it will necessarily give Miami
03:09the juice that it needs to start rebuilding faster.
03:12Because right now they're down in the dumps.
03:14If they get the juice to rebuild faster, you got Gordon down there.
03:18You have some young pieces you can put together.
03:20You can get Miami to resurge at a quick rate versus it's trying to go through the draft and try
03:26to build it that way.
03:27So it's – go ahead.
03:29If you couple Miami with Lamar Jackson, people want to play for Lamar Jackson.
03:35And Miami needs a star.
03:37They can't seem to draft one.
03:38They've been down on their luck with quarterbacks since Marino.
03:41I think they would be head over heels and willing to give up two first-round picks and resign Lamar
03:47Jackson as a staple to say,
03:49all right, whoever our next coach is, we got this position locked up.
03:54If you want to come coach the great Lamar Jackson, again, if I'm the Miami Dolphins, I can package this
04:00and sell it to my fans.
04:01I can package this and tell it to other free agents.
04:03I can package this and sell it to the league to put us on TV four times a year.
04:07Like, I can package this if I'm Miami.
04:09If I'm Baltimore, we've seen this movie.
04:12It doesn't work.
04:14Yeah, and, you know, it's just – he's from Florida too.
04:19I mean, I think that Dolphins thing makes sense.
04:20Like you said, John, he's from that area.
04:23They need a star.
04:24It kind of makes all the sense in the world.
04:26And, you know, Miami's attractive to anybody.
04:29Like you said, players are going to go there.
04:32I mean, people want to live there.
04:34Players want to go to warmer weather, especially play with him.
04:37So, again, I think they just have to start looking at it.
