00:00Doctor, I want to talk to you about Lamar Jackson for a moment, if we can, too.
00:03Obviously, he didn't practice at all this week, been dealing with that ankle injury.
00:07When should we be realistically expecting Lamar Jackson to get back on the field?
00:11Because they don't have the luxury of a bye coming up anytime soon.
00:14They don't have one until week 13. That's quite a ways away.
00:17So, Lamar's got to kind of press things a little bit.
00:19When do you anticipate him being back to being Lamar Jackson and back on the field for the Ravens?
00:25Well, despite what Coach Jesse Minter was saying, that he could have returned to the game,
00:29that he injured the ankle, we're always like, he's out week five, he's out week six,
00:34even though there was reports of optimism and progress.
00:37We've talked about it on the show, that he's more F1 race car, right?
00:41He's got to be a fine-tuned machine, high performance,
00:44but needs to be finely tuned and healthy to play to be able to run and pass the ball.
00:50Next week is the first chance, not guarantee.
00:55This is what we've been saying all along.
00:57Next week is the first chance, and we'll have to look at practice reports,
01:01but at best, 50-50 for this next week.
01:05The good news is it's not long-term.
01:08Already it's been too long for Ravens fans, obviously missing two games,
01:11but he wasn't put on injured reserve.
01:14He should be back in week seven or week eight at the latest, fingers crossed.
01:19Again, I want to add the next week,
01:19I hope this will be the next week.
01:20We'll be back in the next week.
01:20This is our next week.
