Apple cider vinegar does a lot more than flavor a salad dressing. A review that pooled randomized clinical trials found it lowered fasting blood sugar, and the effect was strongest in people who stuck with it for more than eight weeks.
Fasting blood sugar is your number after at least eight hours without food, so it shows how well your body handles sugar on its own. The same review also found lower total cholesterol and triglycerides, which is good news for your heart.
It's not a magic shot, and it works best when you're also cutting the sugar and carbs. A tablespoon in a glass of water is plenty, and I'd skip drinking it straight because it's rough on your teeth. If you track your glucose, give it a couple of months and watch your fasting numbers.
Let's get healthy together.
