00:12you how to make easy mermaid waves using a three barrel iron to start we're going
00:17to clip up the top section of the hair split the back section in half and we'll
00:26work on one section at a time spray a little bit of hairspray and brush through
00:32to distribute it start clamping the sections with the three barrel iron
00:41continue all the way to the end of the hair repeat throughout the next
00:46sections spray and brush the same as the lower section make sure you have the
00:55barrels exposed on the top so you can see what you're doing with the hair as you
00:59work your way down the hair try and follow the barrel lines from the lower section
01:06don't speed through the process make sure you give the hair time to form repeat
01:12this around the rest of the section for the last section remember to just start
01:17waving the hair at the same point that it waves in the lower section so the top
01:23part just around the crown will be sort of straight and then it will move into
01:28the mermaid wave if you have bangs in the front of your hair just include them as
01:34long as it starts in the same spot finish off the style by brushing the ends
01:40with a soft bristle brush this will add a little fluffiness and airiness to the
01:49style so we've seen this look on the runway and now you know how to do it at home
