00:08And whether you're just a guest or the bride-to-be,
00:10one of the biggest challenges is finding the right hairstyle.
00:13Today we're going to show you how to do pin curl set
00:15for those long-lasting old Hollywood waves.
00:18We're going to start by parting the hair on a deep side.
00:21You can use the peak of your eyebrow as a guide.
00:24Part a square of the hair in about a 2x2 section.
00:28Comb through.
00:29Spritz with a thickening lotion.
00:32Brush the lotion through the hair to evenly distribute it.
00:36You're going to wrap the hair around your fingers, away from your face.
00:40Take your fingers out of the wrapped hair and continue wrapping
00:43so that it goes to the center of the section.
00:47Flatten the curl and pin into place.
00:51Continue this in rows around the head.
00:55Once you're finished pin curling, you're going to finish with a spritz of hairspray.
00:59To get the pin curls on their way to setting, we're going to run a blow dryer over
01:03on hot heat and low steam.
01:06As long as you have to let it sit, the better it will look.
01:10We can start taking the clips out and start pulling out the curls just with our hands.
01:17Run a soft brush through them.
01:19This is going to give the fluff.
01:20Form the waves perfectly around your face and spray to hold.
01:25As an option for a final touch, you can add in a little hair clip.
01:30This look is classic and chic, and just glamorous enough, whether you're a guest or the bride.
