Rim your eyes with a pale pink!
Transcript
00:05Hi, I'm Jem from Refinery29.
00:08And I'm Bethany Brill.
00:09Today we're going to show you how to do a sheer wash of color using your bright eyeshadows.
00:15So we're going to start with a cream shadow.
00:18Using our ring finger, we're going to swipe from the inside corner of the eye along the crease.
00:26Don't worry too much about blending, we're going to do that at the end.
00:29We're going to re-dip our same finger and start with the outside corner of the eye,
00:34putting the shadow along the lash line.
00:37One more dip, then we're going to smudge the eyeshadow along the lower lash line.
00:42Repeat on the other eye.
00:46Finish by blending with your fingertips, just softly rough around the edges,
00:51and then clean up any extra along the bottom with a Q-tip dipped in a little eye makeup remover.
00:57Don't clean up too much because we want a smudgy, sheer effect.
01:01Finish with a coat of mascara to just give the eyes a bright, open look.
01:09So here's a way to use those intimidating bright colors in a fresh way for spring.
