00:02Welcome back, everyone.
00:04We'll be getting to the second half of Chapter 37 of Versus today,
00:08but it's a bit short this time, so it's probably going to be a short video as well.
00:14And before we start, I will humbly ask that you subscribe to the channel

00:26Please and thank you, so let's now get into it.
00:31We open up with Boss making sure everyone is hunkered down
00:35before he turns off the machine, deactivating the magical barrier around the village.
00:40Nukizumi quickly tells everyone to be quiet because a guy's wrath bird called a martial ark
00:46is scouting the area and if it finds them, it could alert its flock
00:50that could have thousands of them in it.
00:52It starts to leave until someone starts screaming, alerting it,
00:56and Hollow tries to kill it before it gets its call out,
01:00but the entire flock heard it and is beginning to fly over.
01:04They are told that he is a otherworlder that's screaming,
01:07that they picked up, but Boss doesn't see any signs of the parasite being in him,
01:14but does see he has some kind of tech inside him.
01:17Luckily, Nuki manages to sedate him, quieting him down and causing the flock to fly somewhere else.
01:31Along with Daikokuzan finally losing interest in them
01:35and starts to walk somewhere else with them turning the generator back on a short time after.
01:42With Boss then seemingly sucking the soul out of the otherworlder with Hollow walking in on him.
01:49But we cut over to Neudo's squad with him informing them that no one will be able to spy on
01:55them here
01:56since his castle is the best defended castle out of all of the demon lords.
02:00He then explains that the World Tree is the key to replenishing their mana near instantaneously,
02:07with him getting this info from another human he captured.
02:11Unfortunately, it turns out Neudo can't damage the tree to get its sap,
02:16so he plans instead to search for a spring that leaks it from the World Tree roots,
02:21and he is using some familiars to track one of them down.
02:25And it of course tracks down the Scent's location to Spiral Mountain,
02:30since the barrier was briefly lifted with them getting ready to travel to that location.
02:36Ah shit, here we go again.
02:39Okay, first I want to talk about this new guy that was freaking out
02:43since he seems to be our first hint at what Extremia, the gaming world, is going to be like.
02:49They are obviously tech-based since Boss detected it in him,
02:53so my best guess is that it implants and modifies humans slightly to track them
03:00and or allow them to interact with the game more thoroughly,
03:03with the game using the implant to cause him pain since he has been away from it for so long,
03:09or he may just be addicted to it and is facing withdrawal symptoms right now.
03:15I am sure we will find out more later.
03:17With Daikokuzan, there is not much to say about him,
03:21since all he did was sense that the power source was no longer active
03:25and go off somewhere else to another energy source.
03:29We got another new animal species from Gaia's Wrath being the Martial Arc,
03:34basically being death pigeons that swarm around prey like we see piranhas do in some movies.
03:40With swarms possibly consisting of hundreds to even thousands of members,
03:44I can't even see any mid-tier characters surviving their attack.
03:49For example, Kiva could take out a few hundred of them maybe,
03:55but he will be overwhelmed eventually running out of mana because of how much he would have to heal.
04:01I would say the lowest tier you would have to be to beat them would be on the level of
04:07Mumu,
04:07the Crimson Forest Guardian, or even at the level of Boxer Boxer.
04:11All right, on to Nudeo's team with him revealing what his plan is to get the other two to be
04:18loyal to him,
04:19which is to find a Spring of the World Tree sap with it being able to fully replenish a Demon
04:25Lord's mana reserves.
04:27It's a decent plan, but as we see, he is finally going to come into conflict with Hollow's group,
04:33and there is a few ways this can go, but I will discuss that when I get onto Hollow's section.
04:40Well, Nukizumi has shown his usefulness again, being able to identify and explain the martial arc,
04:47and being able to quiet down the Extremia guy by quickly making a sedative.
04:53With Boss, his plan worked, luckily, with Daikokuzan losing interest,
04:59and he seems to now be interested in the new guy since he has tech in him that he does
05:06not recognize.
05:07Now, do I think he is sucking the soul out of this man?
05:12Probably not.
05:12He may be somehow taking out his implants or draining the energy from it to turn it off.
05:19But if he is actually sucking the soul out of him, I kind of expect it from a character like
05:25him,
05:25and I do want to see where it goes from here.
05:29Hollow was able to take out the bird, which did help since the flock wasn't fully alerted,
05:34and we'll see what he does next chapter after seeing what Boss is doing.
05:39Ultimately, things are just not looking good for Hollow's side of things,
05:43and paths I could see happening are
05:45that another natural enemy comes along, stalling Nudo's team,
05:50giving them enough time for everyone to evacuate,
05:53or whatever intervenes, whether it be another natural enemy or Bowserk's team coming back.
06:00The other two demon lords are dying, which would honestly be my least favorite path this could go.
06:06But I guess we'll see what happens in the next chapter.
