We finally come to the Conclusion to this mini arc with Versus chapter 36. With us getting to see a bit more of Ginbak's power and what might be the most powerful demon lord so far.

00:00Now behold, the rat-gats! Now give me all of your f***ing money!
00:08Welcome back, everyone, to us finishing up the fight between the Demon Lords and Ginback, in Versus Chapter 36.
00:16And as usual, for this peak series, there's a lot to talk about, so it's probably going to be another
00:2310-20 minute video.
00:24So let's get on with things, and get into it.
00:28We begin with Nudo getting ready to fire his curse weapon, telling the other Demon Lords to run, because he
00:34doesn't know how strong this blast is going to be.
00:38And Ginback, seeing how powerful it might be, scoops up all of his guys, throwing them away from the area,
00:45and then simply tells him to bring it on.
00:51The shot pushes him back a good amount, destroying the environment around them, but Ginback does stop, and actually reflect
01:00it back.
01:01With the shot heading towards Maki Man.
01:05He tries his best to stop it, but it just busts through his shield, severely injuring him.
01:13The attack actually made Ginback accidentally go into his drumming form, and Nudo seeing this distracts him, while he then
01:22talks to the other Demon Lords.
01:24He tells them their leader is dead, and that they should retreat for now, with Maki Man protesting this because
01:32he does not want to disobey the Demon King, and they may be executed if they fail this mission.
01:39Nudo just tells him that they can finish it later, once they prepare better, with Hitodinam and Jehevi siding with
01:48him.
01:48With Hitodinam telling Nudo she saw what he did to Jakuja, but he doesn't need to lie to her, since
01:57she is having the same doubts about the Great Demon King,
02:01and that they should figure everything out that has been happening to the world first, before taking action.
02:09Vuvu, Nyai Goro, and Maki Man stay behind to fight more, and Nyai Goro still thinks she can take him
02:18on herself.
02:19Nudo's team teleports away, with Vuvu wondering why they don't teleport Ginback away, with Nyai Goro showing him why that
02:28would not work.
02:29With her trying to do that, but Ginback just yells it away, dispelling it.
02:34With her stating that Ginback can somehow develop ways to resist things that have affected him previously, whether they be
02:42physical, mental, or magical.
02:45Even knowing this, she still goes into her burst form to attack him, with her creating a domain expansion-like
02:53area conjuring cat claws to attack him.
02:56With us just seeing the aftermath, and Vuvu writing up a report to the Demon King that half of them
03:03died.
03:03And Vuvu finds Varna Games, knocked out, which I am happy, my girl survived like I said she would, and
03:11he brings her up to speed on what happened, fudging the story a bit to make himself look less at
03:17fault.
03:18We see Mumu and Berzer survive the throw Ginback did to them, with the rest dying, and Ginback meeting back
03:25up with them, with a few shallow scratches, still saying, the fight was boring.
03:32Berzer tells him that the Great Demon King will now be after them, with Ginback loving the challenge, since he
03:39is supposed to be much more powerful than the Demon Lords.
03:42Of course, Berzer tells him, as long as he keeps taking out Demon Lords, the Great Demon King has to
03:49eventually come and stop him.
03:51Back with Nudo's group, they tell him that they feel a bit drained after the fight, and he says that
03:57he has a way to bring them back to full mana, but they have to teleport back to his castle,
04:03because others might be listening in.
04:05And we see those others are the Madalins, that are now monitoring the whole planet from space with surveillance satellites,
04:14with Bawon noting that he noticed them, and is informed that the Demon Lord is now captured again.
04:22Galua tells him that the Demon King and Ginback have far surpassed what they thought they were capable of, and
04:29tells him to prepare the Extreme Compression.
04:32We get back to Boss, doing his thing, getting a notification on one of his detection units, with Pane telling
04:40Hollow he smells the same dangerous smell from before, ending the chapter with us seeing that Daikokuzan is in the
04:48general area of Spiral Mountain.
04:51Alright, we got a lot to talk about here. First up is the Curse Weapon.
04:56I'm pretty sure this is our third time seeing the Curse Weapon used.
05:01With it now being powered by a soul of a Demon Lord, and it looks like it is being pushed
05:07to its limit with power, just bursting out of it.
05:11But it still was not powerful enough to meaningfully damage Ginback at all.
05:17At least right now, the Curse Weapon's ceiling of damage is that they can kill high tiers of the Verse,
05:25like Demon Lords and Madalins,
05:27but once it goes to the top tiers, they're not going to do much against them.
05:33The Madalins now have seemingly set up a global surveillance system to keep an eye on any major events that
05:39happen on the world, like the fight that just happened, and keeping an eye on Daikokuzan and the World Tree.
05:46Which is a smart thing, since they can keep getting more info on the stronger beings of the planet.
05:52And they were able to recapture the Demon Lord that got loose, with it taking 5 of them to restrain
05:59him with a medium amount of damage on each of them.
06:02I thought it was 6 at first, but that was just Bawon coming down to check their work.
06:07And now, through many incidents that have happened so far, with Daikokuzan, two of them going missing,
06:14Jachi beating Uki, this current incident, and seeing what Ginback can do,
06:20they have begun to take the other world's factions more seriously.
06:25Saying to bring out the Extreme Compression.
06:28Which, in my mind, means the Extreme Compression bodies, since they have been in what are the equivalent of Scouting
06:36bodies right now.
06:37And I have two theories on this, first being that the new bodies are battle-oriented,
06:44or are made to be in the most extreme universal environments.
06:48But it may use up more of their energy, shortening their lifespan.
06:54And the second is that these new bodies will condense multiple Madalans into one body,
07:01making them much stronger than a singular one, like all of Team 2 put into one body being four Madalans.
07:08And we could see it be tested out either against a new Demon Lord,
07:13or even against Daikokuzan because they still want to defeat him, in some way.
07:19And it would distract him from going towards our main characters on Spiral Mountain.
07:24Looking forward to what they will do next.
07:28Daikokuzan seems to just be going in the vague direction of Hollow's team.
07:33And when it looked at the Hollow team before, it might have actually been looking at the Great Tree,
07:39since it might have been close enough to see it now.
07:42With it going to check out what it is, and maybe try and destroy it,
07:46but maybe be stopped or distracted by any number of other things by this point.
07:52With the Titans, I will have to say it was expected that Berzer and Mumu would survive the toss Gimbak
07:59did,
08:00and the comedy of him killing regular Titans still hasn't gotten old for me.
08:06And Mumu seems to be fully subservient to Gimbak now,
08:10because he saved him from all of the different dangers that happened.
08:14I still wish Berzer got a real fight, but we will have to keep waiting for that moment.
08:20Gimbak again, still being the main event of the chapter,
08:25almost came out of this whole event flawless.
08:27The two incidents where the curse shot accidentally forces him into drumming mode,
08:33which it seems he couldn't help doing so.
08:36And the fact that Yaegoro was able to give him shallow cuts while he was in his burst form.
08:42Which is the first time we actually see some type of damage on him.
08:47I still have him in 5th place on my power tier list,
08:51and at least for me, this doesn't downscale him at all.
08:54For me, since I initially thought the Demon Lord fight was going to be a mid-diff for him,
09:01and it ended up being a low to mid-diff for him,
09:04with him probably being able to take care of all of them in his base form.
09:09And now he is continuing his grand adventure to his new objective of fighting the Great Demon King.
09:15Probably killing more Demon Lords on the way,
09:19and maybe getting more pets from Gaia's Wrath.
09:22The Demons, as usual, have a lot to cover,
09:25starting with the Demon Lord at the Madallon ship,
09:28Penguinura,
09:29who probably escaped due to the Madallons underestimating him,
09:34because before this,
09:35we were speculating that the Demon Lord may be infected with a parasite or something,
09:40but he seems fine.
09:43Right now, to be on the safe side,
09:45I will say he is a low to mid-tier Demon Lord,
09:49because if he was a high or top tier,
09:52I feel like out of the 5 that fought him,
09:56a few of them would have destroyed bodies,
09:58or would have transformed in some way.
10:01Since Jachi being a top tier Demon Lord,
10:04beat a Madallon in base with a few hits.
10:07Moving on, I want to talk about Maki Man,
10:10because he somewhat impressed me,
10:12being able to recover after almost half his body got blown off.
10:17And it was cool to see he was a frilled lizard,
10:20with his frill being like a cape.
10:23And as we saw,
10:24he was much too afraid to disobey the Demon King in any way,
10:29which got him killed by Ginback when he was fighting Yaigoro.
10:33Moving on to her,
10:35she was very impressive with a really cool transformation
10:38for her burst form slash attack.
10:41And at least right now,
10:43she is technically above Jachi as a top tier Demon Lord,
10:47since she was the first character to damage Ginback.
10:51I do still think Nudo and Jachi will showcase stronger stuff in the future,
10:56but for now, she is taking that title.
10:59Vuvu just seems like a pretty neutral character,
11:03not caring who he serves as long as he can do whatever he wants.
11:07Making a report to Byakyo,
11:10only because he has to make sure to downplay any failings he had.
11:15Then we come on to...
11:17My Girl.
11:18Varna Games is alive,
11:20and I couldn't be happier that she is.
11:23She seemed to take a medium level of damage that did knock her out,
11:28but seemed fine when her and Vuvu were going to leave.
11:33She may also be on the more loyal side to the Demon King,
11:37but she may just be more afraid of him than anything else.
11:41Overall, I knew she was going to live,
11:44and shame on any of you who thought otherwise.
11:47Jahevi decided to side with Nudo since his own hack's ability did not work,
11:54and he can't see any way for them to win at the moment.
11:58He also is not loyal to the Demon King,
12:01but tells Nudo that he will abandon him if he sees no benefit to siding with him.
12:07Hito Dinan is the only one that realized what Nudo did in killing a fellow Demon Lord,
12:13but she sees no real problem with it,
12:16since she seemed to be already friendly with him when they saw each other in the meeting.
12:23Of course, the primary reason that she is siding with him is simple survival.
12:28And she supports maybe to unseat the current Demon King,
12:33who she is questioning because he has not done anything to help them yet,
12:39just seemingly sitting around and giving orders.
12:42Seeing Nudo use the curse weapon and seeing that he can think for himself swayed her to him,
12:50and as we later see, he will benefit her right away,
12:54with the World Tree Essence bringing her back to full mana reserves.
12:58Nudo himself did decently this chapter,
13:01and I am not sure if sacrificing a Demon Lord was worth the one shot he got.
13:07He did take out a loyal Demon Lord and found out that Gimbak did have a higher form through it,
13:14but I don't know if you can call that worth it.
13:18But Nudo has gained two followers that will get stronger through being with him,
13:25benefiting from the different world's items.
13:27And I was not expecting him to be able to know the Madalins were watching and listening to them through
13:34satellites.
13:35This man keeps impressing me,
13:37and I may dare say he may be the GOAT of all the natural enemies so far.
13:44And then we got a quick look back with Hollow's team with Boss seeing something coming towards them
13:51that might not be Daikokuzan because the author may be trying to misdirect us,
13:57just putting that out there.
13:58And of course, now they have to figure out a way to lead Daikokuzan away or just evacuate the village,
14:06which will be a challenge all onto itself because I can't imagine them wanting to leave.
14:12I guess we'll see what happens next month.
14:16So this was yet again and always is a fantastic chapter,
14:21finishing off the mini-arc we were on with the Demon Lords.
