Versus Chapter 35: This was a Great Battle Chapter getting to see all the different abilities of each Demon Lord. With Berser getting some shine as well and Ginbak just yet again showing How Overpowered he truly is.

00:12Hello and welcome back my fellow Versus fans.
00:15We are back from our one month break which had the fandom fiending for content and we
00:21finally get that release.
00:25So let's get started.
00:27We start back where we left off thankfully, with the demon core charging at the titans.
00:33With Berzer saying that this fight is going to be a tough one for everyone, except for
00:38his father of course.
00:40With Kanigani and Bolkoko going straight into their release forms.
00:44But Varnegames is reluctant to, but eventually transforms as well.
00:50With all of them dogpiling on Ginbak blowing the other titans away.
00:54Jahevi tries using his petrification again, and the others get out of the way with Varnegames
01:01holding Ginbak in place because her shell can nullify magic.
01:05And it actually starts working on Ginbak, so Berzer orders his men to stop him, but gets
01:11quickly spleeblitzed by Vuvu.
01:14Who comments that they are super slow and tries to take down Berzer, but he manages to get out
01:20of the combo, but is blocked by another demon lord, Maki Man.
01:26And they do eventually petrify Ginbak, but only at a surface level.
01:30So they use this opportunity to bombard him with spells.
01:34Which do nothing to him, which starts to freak all of them out as they wonder how the hell
01:41they are going to beat a being like this.
01:44But Nyudo says he has an idea.
01:47Gentlemen, but I have an idea.
01:51And he pulls out a soul container, saying that a demon lord is going to have to be consumed.
01:57With Kanigani going in again to fight Ginbak, but gets one shot like I thought he would,
02:03and pinballs all around the barrier.
02:09He then grabs Balcoco, stretching her out, and uses her to catch Kanigani who is still
02:15bouncing around, and uses her as a slingshot firing them both at Varney Games, who tries
02:21to protect herself.
02:23But thanks to her shell, breaks the barrier that was buffing them all, with Ginbak simply
02:32saying that this is boring to him.
02:34Jakuja starts panicking even more, telling Nyudo to use Balcoco as the sacrifice, but
02:42Nyudo has other plans, and traps him inside a similar spell to his burst, but it weakens
02:50demons instead, and proceeds to use the soul container on him.
02:55With Ginbak attacking him, but it turns out Nyudo was never there physically, and has been
03:02using an illusionary clone this whole time.
03:05With him telling Ginbak that he is about to show him a fun time, with his little experiment
03:11of seeing what a soul container powered by a demon lord can really do, ending the chapter.
03:18So the first natural enemies I want to go over are the titans.
03:22And man do they get some upscale being able to not die from a low effort demon lord hit from
03:29Vuvu.
03:29It just seems they were knocked out, and the one Varney Games put no effort into swatting
03:35away, still seems like he was alive with him just coughing up some blood.
03:40And Berzer also got a major upscale with him still standing after Vuvu's sneak attack, and
03:47being able to take multiple shots from him, powering through it to attack Jahevi.
03:52And temporarily goes down from the knockback of the force field Maki Man puts up.
03:59Then him and Mumu survive the meteor that was dropped on Ginbak, and he's still able to
04:04comment on the fight once his father begins to fight back.
04:08This dude is a champion, going through all of this, and still not activating his drumming
04:14form.
04:15Very impressive, I still want him to do more next chapter.
04:19And of course Gimbak is still doing his thing.
04:23They impressed him a bit when they ganged up on him and managed to freeze him in place
04:28for a minute.
04:29But even with all that, they don't have the firepower to do any damage to him, with him
04:35putting in a low amount of effort once he got out of the stone.
04:38With what I think is the same amount of effort he put into his second punch on Jachi, utterly
04:45destroying Kanigani.
04:48And we see he started aiming at the other mages like Nyudo now since he sees their powers
04:54may be annoying to him.
04:56So overall, he is doing better than I even thought he would, low diffing the entire group,
05:03not even needing his drumming form.
05:05Now moving on to the Demon Lords, Kanigani of course easily dealt with the basic titans
05:11in their drumming form, with his release looking pretty good with the buzz saws in his claws
05:17to rip opponents apart.
05:19And like I said, as I predicted, gets destroyed by Gimbak punching his head into mulch.
05:24I saw some people saying he may be alive.
05:27I give him a 95 to 99% chance, this guy is dead.
05:33Since after that punch, he pinballed around the arena and was slingshot into Varna Games.
05:40If he had any brains left, they were scrambled.
05:43Then Volcoco had a disgusting burst form, where she started eating the titans and seemed to
05:56try to eat Gimbak's arm, but just ended up getting torn up and used, barely clinging to
06:04life by the end of the chapter.
06:06I give her a 80 to 90% chance she is going to die.
06:11Now Varna Games, who is my favorite here besides Nudo, actually did pretty good considering
06:18the circumstances.
06:19She did not want to transform for the fodder until she was ordered to do so, since she severely
06:26outclasses them in strength, which seems to be one of her specialties.
06:30And her burst, man, all I gotta say is,
06:36You gonna make me act up, you don't make me do something I'm gonna regret.
06:41Which seems to raise her strength and defense.
06:44Along with us finding out, her shell can basically negate magic in general.
06:49With her performing an impressive feat of holding Gimbak in place because the other two
06:54had to let go of him while he got petrified.
06:57Another good feat is her reacting to Gimbak's shot at her, and being able to turtle up before
07:03it hit her, giving her a ring out.
07:05Now, do I think she is dead?
07:08No.
07:08I think she survived with me giving her a 20% chance she died from that hit.
07:14Since she wasn't hit directly by Gimbak, and her whole thing is defense.
07:19If she died, I feel like there would have been a panel showing her defenses breaking.
07:26Next is Jehevi, who, with the boost of the barrier, was able to petrify Gimbak now.
07:32And he may have put more mana into it, but we can't really know.
07:36And we still haven't seen him go into his burst form like a few of the other demon lords that
07:41are left.
07:42And he still was only able to freeze Gimbak at a surface level.
07:47Vuvu is still not taking the fight seriously, since he put a low effort attack to knock out
07:55the titans, and he tried to put a low effort attack to try to put down Berzer, who powered
08:01through it and was about to interrupt Jehevi, which would have messed up the whole plan if
08:07it wasn't for Machi Man.
08:09Vuvu is obviously a speedster, so lacks raw strength with him, probably taking the fight
08:15more seriously next chapter, since 4 out of the 10 demon lords are out of commission.
08:22Hopefully using his burst, but probably he will get the fly swatter treatment from Gimbak.
08:29Machi Man is a support type character that specializes in barriers, since he used one against Berzer
08:35and Jakuja, told him to put up barriers as well.
08:39Niai Goro surprised me, seeing she is a female, which I assumed she was male, since we never
08:46got a good look at her until now.
08:48And she seems to specialize in occult magic, but we can't really say how it's different,
08:55so I want to see more from her.
08:57Hito Dinam seems to have space-related magic, since she summoned a meteor to attack, along
09:03with her being a starfish type of demon, and having a star motif about her, all over her
09:10body and wand.
09:12Jakuja honestly did his best in the chapter, I can't see a way he could have done better,
09:19except maybe telling all of the mages to put everything they had into their attacks, except
09:25that might have destroyed the barrier too.
09:28And he did not completely freak out with seeing how indestructible Gimbak was.
09:34So, he may have ordered the rest of the demon lords to retreat if one or two more of them
09:40went down, shamefully telling the demon king that they need him to take care of Gimbak.
09:46But he ended up dying, which I honestly felt bad for him, with him getting crushed and then
09:52his soul getting sucked out and used for ammo.
09:55And now, we get onto the big man on campus, Nudo.
10:08He just keeps impressing me with each chapter he is in.
10:12First of all, he already knew that this demon lord team was probably going to fail.
10:17And it's amazing that none of the other demon lords noticed he was just an illusion clone
10:23that was still on par with the other demon lords here.
10:26On top of this, he managed to copy another demon lord's special move, modifying it to
10:32his own whims.
10:33And even if he says it's second rate, he can obviously work on the technique in the future,
10:39maybe mastering it to the same level.
10:42Then of course, he has been the only demon lord so far that is taking advantage of the
10:47new world's powers by using a soul container.
10:50Now, do I think it will be able to injure Gimbak?
10:54Actually yes.
10:55If it is able to focus all of the energy into one shot, I do think it could injure Gimbak,
11:03like giving him a deep cut, maybe leaving a scar, but nothing life threatening.
11:08And I think that it will actually get Gimbak excited that someone was able to make him bleed
11:13for once.
11:14Now talking about what I think Nudo's future plans are.
11:18I think he is gunning to be the new demon king dethroning Byakyo.
11:23Will it work?
11:25Probably not.
11:26But he is definitely making moves in doing so, because he is experimenting with all the
11:31new tech wanting to get control of the robot somehow as well.
11:36And killing any other demon lord that seems to be too loyal to the current king.
11:42I am definitely excited to see what he is going to do in the future.
11:46I would love to know what you guys thought about this chapter with everything that went
11:51on with it.
11:52I am a little disappointed that we did not get more pages, but an entire chapter of battle
11:58is something I can't complain about that much.
