00:00In this video, I'll point out a few possible future Easter eggs to the movie roles of actor Chris Hemsworth.
00:08And you can see these in 2012 action thriller The Bourne Legacy.
00:14This is the fourth film in the series based on the Jason Bourne spy novels by author Robert Ludlam.
00:22In this cast, you'll find Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton.
00:28Renner is known for his role as Marvel comic book superhero Hawkeye in five associated MCU films.
00:37Both he and Chris Hemsworth, who plays God of Thunder Thor, are members of the Avengers team.
00:43Based on the story of The Bourne Legacy, Bourne exposed the CIA secret Black Ops programs, Treadstone and Blackbrier to
00:50the public.
00:51Retired USAF Colonel Eric Beyer panics to protect the government secrets.
00:56Byer orders the termination of Operation Outcome, a classified program that uses genetic enhancement and daily pharmaceuticals to build super
01:07soldiers.
01:07Aaron Cross, played by Renner, an enhanced agent operating in Alaska, survives a targeted drone strike.
01:15He travels to Manila in the Philippines, the location of the pharmaceutical plant responsible in an attempt to remedy the
01:24situation.
01:25All right, so the ending scene of The Bourne Legacy, he starts at around two hours, four minutes in.
01:32This is filmed near El Nido in the Philippine island of Palawan.
01:37In their cross and shearing or evading detection by booking passage on a local ship, you'll see on the wrist
01:45of the captain a gold Rolex Daytona wristwatch.
01:51I thought this a possible reference to 1980s police TV series Miami Vice and the Ferrari Daytona, which was a
02:02two-seater roadster by the Italian automaker between 1968 and 1973.
02:10A black Ferrari Daytona was used by Crockett and Tubbs in Miami Vice.
02:16A director and writer, Michael Mann, was executive producer on this series.
02:22He later worked with Chris Hemsworth on 2015 techno thriller Black Hat.
02:29This was about cyber hackers and organized crime in Southeast Asia.
02:34In relation to the Philippines, this is the nearby country of Malaysia.
02:38Electronic musician Moby's 2002 song Extreme Ways plays as the ending theme to The Bourne Legacy.
02:49In 2015, Chris Hemsworth was in Historical Adventure in the Heart of the Sea, directed by Ron Howard.
02:58Based on Nathaniel Philbrick's 2000 non-fiction book about the sinking of the American whaling ship Essex in 1820.
03:07This event inspired Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby Dick.
03:14Chris Hemsworth plays Owen Chase, the first mate in this story.
03:17Others in the cast, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland, Brendan Gleeson, and Jordy Mola.
03:22Additionally, there are many links between Ferrari and Chris Hemsworth.
03:28In 2013, he played British Formula One driver James Hunt in Rush, also directed by Ron Howard.
03:36The story focused on the rivalry between Hunt and Austrian Nicky Lauda, set during the 1976 season.
03:47Also in this, Daniel Bruhl and Olivia Wilde.
