00:00On this week's edition of First Things First, our own Michelle Yu caught up with Katie Davis, who picked up
00:05her very first Graded Stakes win.
00:13Okay, we're out of breath right now because Katie Davis and I just ran from the jocks room to try
00:16to get this interview squeezed in.
00:18You're on People Watching today. How's your day been at California People Watching?
00:21Oh, amazing. It has been. Actually, I was walking around earlier today, so I mean, a little bit of a
00:26full circle.
00:27Last time I was here, I was pregnant, so it's pretty nice to get out here and actually ride a
00:31race.
00:32Last time there's some jealousy when you got to see your husband riding and you're like, I want to be
00:35out here.
00:35Yeah, I was like, there's nothing wrong with me. Yes, I'm growing a baby in me, but you know, it
00:39was good.
00:40It was a great experience both times.
00:43Now you're going to be out here for our Perfect Weather. You're riding People Watching in this spot.
00:46Ridden them in the last two or her in the last two outs. You think the turn back and distance
00:50is going to be okay for her?
00:51Yeah, I agree. I mean, I worked her back at Belmont. She worked very well on the Depita.
00:57Listen, we're here and you got to be in it to win it. So we're taking a shot.
01:02I love it, Dana. We'll have to wave to all the cosplayers on the outside here.
01:05We have done plenty of people watching today. Welcome to the SoCal Jockey Colony now.
01:09Thank you for having me.
