00:00Well, did Seattle just give the league the blueprint
00:02on how to beat the Chiefs last night?
00:04Because I know playing defense like Seattle is tough to do,
00:07but this is exactly what Pat Fitzmaurice and I talked about
00:11on our show that we taped for Betting Pros on Tuesday.
00:14We both like Seattle.
00:15I took Seattle, and it was like, well, I fully believed
00:19that Kenneth Walker, who walked off the field, by the way,
00:22last night without shaking anyone's hand,
00:23which is not a great look for him,
00:25but he was going to be the focal point for that defense
00:28from Mike McDonald, and anybody except Kenneth Walker
00:31was going to beat them last night, and there's nobody else
00:33on that Chief team that can really beat you
00:35because Travis Kelsey is aging very fast right in front of our eyes,
00:40and there's no real wide receiver threat to help Patrick Mahomes.
00:44Is that how you beat KC going forward?
00:47Yeah, stop the run and make Mahomes and the passing attack
00:50beat you in the year 2026.
00:52That's not a scary proposition at all.
00:55Isn't that crazy? It's a crazy thing to say.
00:58Well, so make Mahomes beat you.
01:00It's a crazy thing to say if we're just like from public perception
01:05and narrative, but you know I've been screaming
01:08for the last two to three seasons.
01:10Mahomes hasn't deserved all the accolades
01:12as far as how well he's playing versus like how everybody talks about him.
01:17He has not been playing quarterback well over the last three years.
01:21He's been a bottom five deep ball passer.
01:24It's literally just been run around in circles and throw low a dot yak stuff for the last few years.
01:31Now has he gotten by with it? Yeah, but that doesn't mean that he's playing at like an incredibly high
01:37level,
01:37but to your point, this entire pass catching room has aged and been degraded around him.
01:46Like Andy Reid cannot draft a wide receiver to save his damn life.
01:50They can't seem to sign anybody.
01:52They just keep looking at this wide receiver room and saying, it's fine.
01:56We'll be okay.
