01:28or are you just looking at this and saying this team needs a win

02:48I think you have to have something that you can rely on.
02:53And the offense has been that thing where you're like, okay,
02:57we know we can go score some points.
02:58I don't need a lot out of you, defense.
03:00Well, now you kind of do because the offense has been struggling.
03:02So I think for me, I need to see that this offense still has what it takes to go out
03:07there
03:07and get, you know, 25, 30 points, can move the ball when they need to.
03:12They need to be a little bit more complimentary.
03:14I think everybody knows that.
03:16And so just I want to see them kind of be balanced, go out and score some points
03:21and let the defense, because if the defense has been playing,
03:24it looks like they've been playing a little better.
03:26I know it doesn't, you don't see it all the time, but you're seeing a little bit more.
03:31You're seeing like half of the sacks that they have this season are in the last two games.
03:34So, and all of the intersections that they've had in 2026 and last week too.
03:41So I think the offense is what I need to see a little bit more from.
03:45Nick, what are some of the big subplots you're watching tonight?
03:48Is it going to be things like, all right, how does Pickens respond to maybe Coach
03:52leaning on him a little bit publicly?
03:53Is it how does Dak respond to a couple of games where people are wondering about
03:57how he handles the blitz or some of these more complex, exotic defensive schemes?
04:02What are the big subplots for you tonight in this game?
04:05Yeah, I think what the Eagles do with the blitz too, because I mean,
04:10that's not usually been their style a lot.
04:13But I mean, I think you have to, they'll do something and they'll be aggressive.
04:17I mean, it's one of those things early on that you find out how much do you have to blitz?
04:21Because, you know, the Giants kind of show that when they get four guys at the quarterback,
04:25they don't have to blitz much because they're already applying pressure.
04:28So that'll be one of the things, how do the Cowboys block it up front?
04:32And then also, you know, from a play-calling standpoint, you know, I mean,
04:37you just know Shottie likes to throw the ball around, and that's just what this offense is built on.
04:42But I think that they're going to have to slow the game down a little bit, run the ball.
04:46And that's one of the things I'm looking at is how they call the runs and passes.
04:52And then on defense, you know, I want to see how, what happens with the corners.
04:57Like, I mean, this is about as good as you're going to have for this cornerback room for the Cowboys.
05:03And it's about as bad of a receiving group as you could possibly see any NFL team having, I think.
05:11No offense to them, but I mean, they just don't have the guys.
05:14And so this is about as favorable of a matchup from a cornerback versus receivers as I think you should
05:21have in the league.
05:22So I want to see if they take advantage of that.

07:51But the way, you know, the way the Giants are right now, like, they are the favorites.
07:57I mean, they're figuring out a way with their quarterback.
07:59They're running the ball.
08:00I mean, you know their defense is good.
08:02And that's just...
08:04Now, they still have some, you know, they'll have some games in front of them.
08:08But, you know, they don't have that tough schedule.
08:11I mean, their third-place schedule, right, or fourth, maybe even last.

08:17But, you know, and then they play the division, like, these games in the division.
08:22And so, as bad as it is with Philly and the Washington struggles, you kind of want them
08:27to kind of beat each other up.

08:30Now, the Giants, though, have benefited on the schedule that the Cowboys are hoping to
08:36benefit from here.
08:37You know, with the Cardinals, the Titans coming up.
08:39So, you know, you think it's going to even out, but I don't know.
08:44I mean, the Giants got a nice lead right now.
08:46Do you factor in the Giants when it comes to your decision to buy or sell the deadline?
08:53Or do you worry about just the Cowboys?
08:57I think, I still think that, and I think the Cowboys feel the same way.
09:02I think a good move is a good move.
09:05You know, I just, I don't think they're going to get the Von Miller type of player right now.
09:12You know what I mean?
09:12Which, you could argue if that's good or bad.

09:21Because, first of all, it hasn't proven to be a help.
09:25Secondly, like, it would have to be a move for next year and the next year after that

09:31So, if that move comes along, then I think it makes sense, kind of regardless of the record.
09:36But, no, I don't think the Giants factor that in.
09:39You know, the weird thing is, I don't know how you guys feel about this, but the tie that they

09:43you know, it's like, well, the Cowboys, they have the head-to-head of the Cowboys,
09:46but does it matter, like, unless the Cowboys end up with the tie?
09:49Like, you know, the head, their tie kind of changes a little bit of everything.
09:55I mean, you got to get ahead of them, obviously.
09:58But, I don't know.
09:59I think that there's still a lot of football left, but this is one where, like,
10:03you don't get this tonight, but I think it changes a lot about where the season is going to be.
10:08Is it feeling uneasy or in the building or the pressure cooker?
10:13Is on high, ready to pop?
10:16Well, I mean, here at the hotel, it's a little uneasy because the hotel staff is trying to get everyone.
10:22They're trying to get everyone to, you know, clean their rooms.
10:25And you're like, we have late checkout.

10:30I mean, it's like, yeah, it's good.
10:33That's the only uneasy thing.
10:34I honestly, though, I think they know the pressure of this game.
