The resizer: https://toolster.net/resize_photo

A form wants a picture under 200 KB, or a site asks for exactly 1200 pixels wide? Here is how to get both at once.

In the clip:
1. Choose image (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF).
2. Quick buttons: 75, 50 or 25 percent, or fit to 1920, 1280 or 800 px. You can also type a width and the height keeps the proportions.
3. Lighter file: drag the quality slider, or switch to Target size and enter the KB you need.
4. Check the new size and weight, then download.

The numbers from our test: an autumn park photo, 1536 x 1024 and 892 KB, goes to 1200 x 800 with a 150 KB target. Opened again in the image converter it reads 1200 x 800, 149 KB. Check it yourself: https://toolster.net/image_converter

Nothing gets uploaded, the photo is processed on your device.

Need to cut the picture first? There is a short video on cropping: https://youtu.be/kevftgxkjdg
