Need a square picture for a profile, or a wide one for a banner? Open the photo, choose the frame shape and move it over the part you want.
Step by step:
1. Choose image opens a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF.
2. Pick Free, Square, Wide or Vertical.
3. Pull a corner to change the frame size, drag the frame to move it. The size in pixels is shown live.
4. Crop image shows the result with its pixel size, format and weight.
5. Download the cropped file.
Our example: a photo of a lunch table becomes a square shot of just the pasta. We save it and open the copy again to make sure it really came out square.
The picture stays on your computer during the whole process, nothing is sent to a server.
