00:07I'm glad to receive Mr. Kostic, the new Secretary of Montenegro National Committee.
00:13Hi, welcome.
00:14Hi Alice, it's my pleasure to be here.
00:17You've been elected five months ago.
00:20What motivated you to become the General Secretary?
00:23Well, I followed the work of SIGRE for a long time now in my country,
00:28and in a recent time I wanted to be more involved in the SIGRE activities.
00:34So I used to submit papers and attend conferences even as a student,
00:41but now I want to be a part of the SIGRE team to learn new skills and hopefully to contribute.
00:47On the other side, our committee wanted to bring new people in to refresh,
00:55so they can refresh their team.
00:57And I think that now we have a very good combination of youth and experience.
01:02So what are your main missions?
01:05Well, firstly I must say that during these 14 years of committee existence,
01:10a great job was done in developing it.
01:12So I see my primary task as I see my primary task to continue with that good tradition,
01:23and of course to be focused on improvements by adopting new methods and innovations in our work.
01:28So I see my mission in promoting SIGRE by organizing quality sessions
01:36and motivating as much as possible young engineers to recognize SIGRE value and to take part in SIGRE activities.
01:45What will be the next maybe events that are coming in Montenegro?
01:50We are currently focused on organization of the eighth session that will be held in May next year.
01:59After pandemics, engineers are eager to attend conferences and write papers,
02:06and in the meantime a lot of interesting topics appeared like energy crisis, power and power price increase,
02:15then a great problems because of huge renewable influx, renewable technologies.
02:20So we have high expectations of upcoming events.
02:25This is your first time at the Paris session.
02:28How went it?
02:30Very interesting, very dynamic.
02:32I just can congratulate the organizers.
02:36Oh, the message is great.
02:38Thank you for coming.
