00:00Thank you for listening.
00:33Cigarette for me is the place where I start learning when I start sharing my knowledge and it's also a
00:42place where I develop a lot of friendship with many people from around the world where not only the technical
00:49content is the basis of our meetings, our staying together, but also a lot of fun that we are getting
00:56together when we meet.
01:06I've been in Cigarette since almost 20 years. I started back in 2003. I was young. I was engaged in
01:14a working group where expert people guided me through.
01:17And I had also the fortune after a couple of years to attend my first study committee meeting. And this
01:23was very important to get to know a larger community and the passion they have.
01:36Cigarette in this year gave me a lot in terms of professional and personal things.
01:47I learned about the wide spectrum of things that Cigarette is working on. So not only insulated keyboard, that is
01:56my field, but also I got to know about other study committees.
01:59I got to know about the interface between the different fields and also gave me the opportunity to understand the
02:07cultures and different cultural approaches in technical fields.
02:12And this helped me also in the business, in my personal business, within my company, but also developing relations with
02:19other people also outside Cigarette.
02:29I think my most significant contribution was when I became chairman. I had a very significant heritage from very good
02:40people from the past.
02:42But I was feeling to be in a changing time and I felt I needed to set certain different rules.
02:52And I put all the efforts on the efficiency and the time to market of the work we are doing
03:00to get the same pace as the market have.
03:11When I think about this virtual Sentinel session, I cannot say I like it because I do prefer the things
03:19done in person, the things done live meeting people, sharing time, having a beer together, having a dinner together.
03:25But on the other side, I found this very significant to see how the people, the passion of the people
03:35can build things.
03:37If we get together, if we have the same scope and we work together, we can build something that is
03:45extremely good and doing it from remote.
03:49And then meeting here was a fantastic experience for me.
04:02When I think about Cigarette and the challenges that we have and the future that we may face, I think
04:08about a different dynamic of the world we live.
04:13The world is changing very fast and we need to keep the same pace and we can be a change
04:21agent in the energy transformation.
04:23But this could be only if we get to have the same speed, the same pace, the same attention that
04:31is needed to walk this path.
04:34The world has still to Español has all kinds of friendships, money and family and friends.
04:39It's impossible.
