00:00I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity.
00:03You watch it and you're super into it.
00:05It's like really exciting.
00:05The storyline's good.
00:06And then you finish it and I'm looking at the film and I'm just like, I was watching it.
00:10Stop calling them films.
00:12I mean, that is gross.
00:12And those people are getting paid.
00:14Should I get hazard pay for having to watch this team back every single week?
00:19Let's talk about a post-hut clarity.
00:21Rank the losses.
00:24Let's put them all in order on the Franklin Franco fan text 877-881-105.
00:30In terms of how they played or just how gross it is to lose that game?
00:34However you want.
00:36If you were Brian Schottenheimer, Jerry and Steven, you'd feel the most embarrassed.
00:39Tampa.
00:40And mad over Tampa.
00:42Number one.
00:43Can't lose at home.
00:43Can't lose at home to a winless team.
00:45Tampa, Baltimore.
00:48Once you got the ball at the one, you shouldn't have lost the game.
00:51Okay.
00:52Okay, so you're going like in the game.
00:54I'm thinking like just, you know, on a surface.
00:56This is exactly what I was asking.
00:57Yeah, I was thinking on a surface.
00:58And then it's Green Bay.
00:59Green Bay.
00:59Not the Giants.
01:00No, the Giants and then Green Bay.
01:01The Giants, I'll give a little bit of grace to that because the first game of the year,
01:05like, there's a lot of all bets are off aspects of the first game of the year.
01:11Yeah, they never should have lost.
01:12It's Tampa clearly won.
01:15I expected them to lose to the Ravens anyway.
01:18So I'll put the Giants too, even though Bobby's right.
01:21Once you get the ball to the one-yard line, it should have been game over.
01:26And then, honestly, this one.
01:30It's a bad loss.
01:31I'm not being fooled by this score.
01:33Defense sucks.
01:34Defense is trash.
01:35It's still the biggest problem on this team.
01:38It's not even close.
01:39Oh, yeah.
01:39It's the biggest problem.
01:41And the most unfixable.
01:44Well, I don't think it's a hot thing.
01:46I think there's more margin for fixing the defense than there is the offense.
01:50Like, why is the offense struggling?
01:54Like, to me, like, defense, I go, like, all right,
01:56they got to settle into these things.
01:57They got to get guys back.
01:58Like, there are other things I can justify that make me say,
02:00you can improve here.
02:02Whereas with the offense, I'm like, they're out there.
02:05I don't know why they suck right now.
02:08That's just concerning me because I don't know how to diagnose it
02:10and I don't know how to fix it.
02:11The confusing, mysterious aspect of it.
02:14And so that's a troubling thing.
02:16Before we get to actual tape stuff,
02:21let's break down what I was looking at yesterday
02:23between first and second down and third and fourth down.
02:26This was brutal.
02:28So defensively, defensively, these were just two different teams.
02:32Yeah.
02:32How they played on first and second down
02:34and how they played on second or how they played on third and fourth.
02:36So on first and second down,
02:3950% completion percentage for Jordan Love.
02:42Third and fourth, 66.7.
02:45Two-thirds of his pass is complete.
02:47Yards per attempt on first and second down, it was five and a half.
02:50On third and fourth down, it was 8.7.
02:53He had a touchdown and no picks on third and fourth down.
02:55He had no touchdowns and an interception on first and second down.
02:58His quarterback rating was 51 on first and second down.
03:02On third and fourth down, it was 116.2.
03:05They carried the ball 23 times on first and second down for 36 yards.
03:09That's 1.6 yards per carry.
03:11On third and fourth down, they did it three times for 21 yards,
03:14seven yards a pop.
03:15And they got a first down on all three carries that they carried it on third down.
03:19Just a brutal performance when you got to third and fourth down.
03:22If it was only two downs in the NFL,
03:24Dallas would be the greatest defense of all time.
03:26Well, I don't know about all that.
03:28But this is why I kind of showed my and spoke my defensive support yesterday
03:34because I did feel the best about this defense that I have all season,
03:40Sunday night, and a lot of it was because of first and second out.
03:43So it is pathetic that the bar is so low, but baby steps, right?
03:50When you're this trash, some baby steps in terms of progress.
03:53And I felt that I saw it on Sunday night with first and second down.
04:00And that's why I'm saying, put it on the wall.
04:03The Dallas Cowboys defense will not allow more than 25 points
04:10in the next three games individually.
04:13Now, you know, 25 per, they will not give up to Philly.
04:17They will not give up to Arizona.
04:19They will not give up to Indy.
04:20So you do know that they are going against Carly Ursae-Gordon's play calling, then.
04:25So that's ballsy to say that they won't do that.
04:27They will not give up to Philly or Indy.
04:30Jacoby Brissett is going to pick this team apart.
04:34Arizona's a man of just a little bit.
04:36That's right.
04:37He's still suspended.
04:38He's still suspended on my team.
04:40Arizona, Arizona.
04:41My first place team, by the way.
04:42I'm getting, it's unfair, Kamish.
04:45When are you making the picanha or whatever?
04:47It is unfair, Kamish, that I'm the highest scoring team in the league.
04:51And I'm sitting here now at 500.
04:52Play defense.
04:54Defense, Cowboys.
04:55I do not disagree with you.
04:56I believe.
04:57Dude.
04:57I believe that it should not, you should not be playing another opponent that week.
05:01Just be, if there's 12 teams in the league, the sixth highest scoring gets wins,
05:05and the sixth lowest scoring gets losses.
05:07I don't even, I don't even, I don't know if I like that one.
05:10BCS, what are you doing?
05:12Yeah, I mean, why am I playing an arbitrary team that week?
05:15It's not a real team.
05:17I, I, you just give me, just, nope, just, just play your thing.
05:20I'm leading the league by 10 points, and I got three losses.
05:23It's unfair.
05:24Very unfair.
05:24We should cancel the season.
05:26We should give everyone their money back.
05:27Where do you find this information?
05:28Like, Choppy, you're getting very lucky as.
05:31Well, I got lucky this week.
05:32I faced, uh, face Fred, this band of desperados that put up 76 on me.
05:36Like, you've got the fifth lowest scoring team, and you're just benefiting record-wise.
05:42Just five and one, baby.
05:43Is there a standings thing here?
05:45Cupcake schedule, there it is.
05:47Uh, all right, so, yeah, this was, this was gross.
05:50Um, line item number one on offense, the tackles were awful.
05:55They were bad, both of them.
05:56Uh, Guyton and Steele were terrible.
05:57Uh, and it made things difficult all night.
05:59Guyton was, was fighting.
06:01He was out there battling his ass off.
06:04But, I mean, it's, it's 55 dropbacks.
06:07It's gonna be hard for him to hold up 55 times you're throwing the football.
06:10Yeah.
06:11Um.
06:11I wonder how that factor's integrating.
06:14He wore down.
06:15Yeah.
06:16And, um, I heard Jesse Holley point out, just, just speaks to the reps aspect of it.
06:21He goes, the one positive I'll say, as he was on Dallas Cowboys.com with Nate Newton.
06:25Wow.
06:26He goes, and I'm sorry to jump to the defense, but it speaks to the reps.
06:30He goes, I think they figured out a plan for Quinn and Williams.
06:32They didn't wear Quinn and Williams out.
06:34They figured out a defensive rotation to where his snaps in this game dropped by about 20.
06:39And I wonder, in grading your offensive line, when the cutoff point is, like when you're
06:44watching the film and you're like, okay, this has to be periods of exhaustion now kicking
06:48in because we're throwing it 50 times, you know?
06:50Yeah.
06:50And some of this is also, I'll say it doesn't matter, you know, 49 is most important is
06:55the one, the first rep, but I mean, what are you going to do?
06:58Yeah.
06:58I, uh, there is a, there's also the factor of they are bringing seven sometimes.
07:06And I mean, you, like, so one of the biggest things I got out of your observations last
07:13night is that maybe we shouldn't be overreacting or reacting like we are to Dak versus the Blitz
07:22because of the tackle play in this game, the tackle play and the fact that they're so confident
07:30in their secondary that they were willing to just say, hey, we think these four back here
07:37can cover it up, send everybody else.
07:39Dude.
07:39And there were, there were times where, I mean, there was one of these.
07:41This is, that's supposed to be the anti-plan to facing the Dallas Cowboys.
07:46He, he, I did.
07:47Well, that's the thing.
07:47Most people can't send four or most people can't send seven and just drop four or like
07:52three of their best players up front.
07:54They can't zero blitz like that.
07:55Like most teams can't, or like most teams can't zero blitz the way the Packers did.
08:00And the zero blitz is basically like, you have no deep zones.
08:03You don't have anybody playing zone.
08:04You literally just say, hey, make sure there's a man for every receiver.
08:08But outside of that, everybody else is going.
08:10And so you can send more blitzers.
08:13That's a big wink Martindale thing.
08:15Send more blitzers than there are people to block it up.
08:18And that's the thing.
08:19There were a few different times where Dak did identify the blitz.
08:23He knew where it was coming from.
08:24And then the ball is snapped.
08:26And it's like, there's just somebody through the line of scrimmage instantly.
08:28And it's like, well, everybody took somebody.
08:30There's just another guy.
08:32And I know I heard, you know, Zach was talking.
08:35And I started, I was getting ready to text.
08:37I heard Zach during the post game show saying like, you got to know where your hot is.
08:40And like, he knows where his hot read is.
08:41He can't get the ball out that fast.
08:43Like he was not good in this game.
08:44Dak was bad.
08:45Well, where does this fall in terms of adjusting the protection or accounting for it?
08:50Couldn't do anything.
08:51You needed to get the ball out.
08:52They just got there quick.
08:53Like, I mean, in some of those instances, there was nothing you could do other than just they're trusting that
08:58they can cover it up.
09:00And you're going to send somebody out there and try to get the ball out quickly.
09:03But, I mean, some of those blitzers, there were some really late blitzes where guys were linebackers who they got
09:10ahead of steam and they timed it up.
09:12And then they're just, they're running as the ball is snapped and they're hitting the line of scrimmage.
09:15And they just get straight through.
09:16And that's when the running backs are picking it up.
09:18There's just no, there's a running back maybe picking somebody up, but there's another blitzer.
09:22Like, I mean, they were, like I said, they were sending seven sometimes where it's, you can keep the running
09:26back in and it's like, all right, you got six blockers for seven guys that are all running full steam
09:30ahead.
09:31And they did some disguising, some dropping, some various things to try and confuse Dak.
09:38But, I mean, a lot of the pressure stuff, look, against the blitz this year, before these past two weeks,
09:43he still was like a 120 passer rating up until these last two weeks.
09:48Bowles had him worked up.
09:49Dak did not know where the blitz was coming from against Bowles.
09:52I think he knew where it was coming from against Green Bay.
09:54There was just nothing they were able to really do.
09:56They were getting overwhelmed.
09:57And so, they were getting beat up.
09:58But if I'm Jerry and Steven in the meeting, and you're telling me this, I'm not accepting that as an
10:05answer.
10:05Well, I'm saying no other team is going to trust their safeties like that.
10:09No other team is going to do this to us.
10:11Because I don't think there is any other team in the NFL that would try this.
10:13Because Gannon is willing to try because he trusts cover four, send everybody.
10:18We've got guys who will make plays back here, and we think we can get home.
10:21And in a lot of ways, they waited.
10:23They can only do that because they knew they were going to pass the ball 50 times in the second
10:27half.
10:27Like, it was one of those things where it's like, they're going to drop back every time.
10:30We know we can tee off.
10:31We don't have to play the run on us at all.
10:33Cover four, lock that up, and just go.
10:36And so, that was an unfortunate position they were in.
10:40If this game is 10-10 in the third quarter, Green Bay is not playing it the way they played
10:45it.
10:45Like, they got really aggressive in the second half.
10:48But Dak was not good enough.
10:50Even the times where Dak had time to throw, he was just bad.
10:52He was off.
10:53Do we think his hand is messed up?
10:55No, I think he's banged up, though.
10:58I do think he's physically banged up.
11:00I don't think the hand is.
11:00Sheldonheimer did kind of bring up your point yesterday and say,
11:03maybe I should have called timeout after a hit he took.
11:05That one on the ribs.
11:08Now, they definitely disguised it.
11:09Green Bay disguised it.
11:09I don't think he saw the guy dropping.
11:12That's for sure.
11:13But I definitely also, when I saw him, he literally took it.
11:17He gets up in the huddle.
11:17I don't know if they showed it on TV.
11:18He was slow to get up.
11:20He gets up in the huddle, and he starts trying to give the play call.
11:24He stepped away from the huddle, like stepped back like six feet and put his hands on his hips.
11:29And you saw him heavy breathe in and then exhale.
11:31And then he just kind of like hit his helmet, and he went back in the huddle.
11:35And so he was definitely not feeling good when he should have called timeout.
11:39And that's got to be on Dak, too.
11:42If you're banged up there, don't be tough guy, warrior, I'm going to make a play.
11:47Call timeout and get yourself set.
11:48This is too big a play to worry about if you're compromised.
11:50Catch your breath.
11:51And I know they already took a timeout during that half, so he probably didn't want to take another one.
11:56Because they were, I don't remember what stretch that was in the second quarter.
11:58But he probably didn't want to burn another timeout.
12:00He felt like we were going to need that near the end of the half.
12:02And I can, I'll just tough this out.
12:05But he was frustrated with it, too, because he went to the sideline right after that.
12:09Had his head down, was looking at his iPad, and Britt Brown came up to him, was checking in on
12:13him.
12:13And he didn't even look up.
12:14He just nodded.
12:15And then he was like, kind of aggressively nodded, like, good, I'm good.
12:18And so they were all frustrated by it.
12:21But Dak's got to play better.
12:22I think a unique set of circumstances caused them to be under as much duress as they were.
12:28But Green Bay is one of those perfect factor teams that is willing to play it that way and can
12:34play it that way because their safeties and their corners are playing so well.
12:38The linebacker usage was probably the biggest change on defense.
12:42They're expecting overshown back.
12:44Like, Schottenheimer sounded pretty certain about that for Monday night.
12:47Like, Shamar James played a ton.
12:51Justin Barron played a decent amount, like 12 snaps, something like that, which is a decent amount for him.
12:57Justin Barron playing well in coverage, which he's a former safety.
13:00He was a safety at Syracuse, so he's got that in his background a little bit.
13:03But he was not bad in coverage.
13:04And you've got to be able to, in the past, you needed to be able to play a little bit
13:09more coverage in that linebacker in the Fangio scheme.
13:12Parker has not been doing as much of that.
13:15He's had them a little bit more protected at times, but recently they've had to go to that.
13:20Yeah, Shamar James had 59 snaps.
13:22Yeah, he played a ton.
13:24I will say that Ja'Sean Barron was bad.
13:29I thought Ja'Sean Barron was really awful, especially in coverage.
13:32Lowest graded starter.
13:33He was not good.
13:35Ja'Sean Barron gave up a lot of passes.
13:38He took bad angles.
13:39He missed tackles.
13:40He was just, Ja'Sean Barron was not good in this game.
13:42Malachi Lawrence got a lot more opportunity.
13:45I thought he was okay.
13:47Ryan Flannoy played a lot more than he typically does.
13:50But I don't know.
13:51That's hard to judge how much that was part of the plan.
13:54Because if they were going into there wanting to run, and then Flannoy's playing 87% of the snaps, that's
13:59because probably they're passing it a bunch.
14:01And Turpin got hurt.
14:02And so there wasn't much of a rotation.
14:03I was hoping for a little bit more from Flannoy to start the year after my excitement after camp.
14:10Yeah, it's been a little disappointing to this point.
14:13He's had a couple plays where it's like, oh, that's a nice catch or whatever.
14:17But I mean, yeah, when he's gone, his game so far this year, 7 for 40, 3 for 90, 4
14:21for 37, 222, 523, 222.
14:25That is disappointing.
14:26That's not what they were expecting out of him.
14:27They wanted him to step up, I think, and be like a legit 3, and he's not done that yet.
14:32And I don't know how much I'm blaming him yet.
14:34They did throttle back Vaughn Miller.
14:36He did not play that much.
14:38Throttle back?
14:38Yeah, he did not play as much.
14:40And I don't...
14:41Is that possible?
14:42Yeah.
14:43What are you throttling back from?
14:45No, but I mean, that's the thing.
14:46Because there was a thought that he was going to play more, and he did not.
14:51And it's not even didn't play more.
14:53He played less.
14:54Look, let's just admit it.
14:56We got taken.
14:58I don't think he's playing poorly.
15:00You don't?
15:00No.
15:00He's playing well.
15:01They're not playing him.
15:02I don't know why.
15:04I think they're just...
15:05They don't want to have him out there and run situations probably right now.
15:08And that's...
15:09There's not a lot of just...
15:10So him and Houston are just sitting over there in the pass rushers club, and they're not getting
15:15out on the field because of the run.
15:17Yeah.
15:18I think that's...
15:19And I mean, also, they feel like they can't drop him in coverage.
15:20They did once.
15:21Yeah.
15:22But there's a little bit of the coverage aspect that they want from the linebackers that he's
15:27not fulfilling.
15:27I get the sense Von Miller was...
15:31That may have been more a front office, like, you're taking him.
15:34Just because it doesn't look like they want to use him.
15:37So coaching staff doesn't...
15:38It's...
15:39Because they're not using him, that tells me, like, it doesn't seem like you really wanted
15:43him at any point.
15:44All right.
15:44Post that here.
15:45Post Hutt Clarity here on 105 Through the Fan.
15:47McCarthy and Mingo, maybe.
15:49Yeah.
15:50Yeah.
15:50That's exactly what it was.
15:51That's one of the last tensions they had because Mike McCarthy refused to play him.
15:56Game plan was super boring.
15:58Bad design from Schottenheimer.
16:00Passing design was super snooze fest.
16:03It was basic stop routes and slants and doesn't work out.
16:07I think they wanted to run the ball so much that they installed a game plan that wouldn't
16:10allow them to come back from, like, a shootout.
16:13They were not prepared to go in there with a shootout.
16:14And so...
16:15Yeah.
16:15That bothered me when I read that last night.
16:17That's...
16:17They were unprepared.
16:18Our goal is to run the ball so much that we...
16:21If we get behind, we physically can't come back.
16:24No, I think they thought both sides were going to try to run the ball all night.
16:27And it didn't happen that way.
16:29Okay.
16:29Well, if that's true, that's really alarming and terrifying.
16:35As we sit here on Friday and say, Jordan Love, all we talked about and all everyone said
16:43was bombs away.
16:45Like, you don't need to run against us.
16:48You can't run it.
16:49You're at the bottom of the league in standing.
16:52Statistics with it if you're the Packers.
16:53You don't have your number one running back.
16:56He's coming back next week.
16:59Everyone had the over for the most part.
17:02Why would you not think this was going to be a shootout and throwing it all over the
17:05place?
17:06I have a hard time accepting that.
17:08Because every team so far this year has come out and tried to run on Dallas.
17:12Dallas has shown that even if you can't run the ball, you can establish it early and you
17:16can then...
17:17Well, you know you need to score points no matter what.
17:19You know every game's a shootout.
17:20Right.
17:21Well, I mean, not every game has been lately.
17:23But I mean, the idea is that...
17:25You have to score 30.
17:27That's a shootout on your end, at least.
17:29You have to.
17:30Yeah.
17:31I mean, it's a boring game plan.
17:32It was a bad game plan.
17:33I'm not saying it was a good game plan.
17:34I'm just saying it's not unusual in the NFL that if you're, like, approaching the game
17:38a certain way...
17:38Like, you can only prep for so much during the practice week.
17:41And you can only install so much of, like, hey, this is what we're going into the game
17:44plan with.
17:46They tilted it way too heavily.
17:47And what they came in there with was not an ability to really stand up against that
17:52pass rush.
17:52And like I said, the passing concepts...
17:54It reminded me the passing concepts of what they were doing week one against the Giants,
17:57which was awful.
17:58And that being what specifically?
18:00Simple, like, stop route slants that were running right into the coverages of the zone.
18:04There's a Brock Purdy article on ESPN about layered throws.
18:09And that stung me last night.
18:11I couldn't even read it.
18:12I have it up.
18:12But I haven't even delved into it.
18:14Because we keep talking about, oh my god, how is this guy so open?
18:17How is that guy so open?
18:19How is Mike Evans doing this and that?
18:20And it's just talking about layered throws that Brock Purdy has mastered.
18:24He, I think the touchdown, like, went over a defender.
18:27He had another pass that went over Sonny Stiles.
18:30It's just, like, beautiful to watch.
18:31Yeah.
18:32And it's...
18:32Right now, they are...
18:34It felt like they were staying out of the middle of the field in a lot of instances.
18:38They were trying to just kind of throw a lot of stop routes.
18:40It was very much...
18:41You watch it back.
18:42It'll be...
18:43Here's two guys on the outside.
18:44They're going eight yards.
18:46And they're turning in.
18:46And then these two are doing out routes.
18:49And it's just...
18:50Which, that's basic functions of offense.
18:52You do need those in there.
18:53That's a lot of what people run on given snaps.
18:55But it's not going to work when you're like, all right, we're in shootout mode.
18:58Is that like...
18:59Like Houston, they turned it on in the second half.
19:01They changed the game plan.
19:02They adjusted.
19:02They started pushing the ball down.
19:03Is that more...
19:04Is that like the blueprint that you need versus what you said Green Bay was doing defensively
19:09in the secondary with their looks?
19:11I mean, you definitely would have been able to...
19:13If you came in and you were able to run the ball and establish the run, that's like a complimentary
19:17way to throw the game.
19:19Like, to throw the football.
19:21And they didn't do that.
19:22All right.
19:23Last couple notes here in Post.Clarity.
19:25Let me just make a final statement on it.
19:27If you did not think that Jordan Love was probably going to torch you, they were going
19:33to go to that.
19:36That's idiotic.
19:37I'm sorry.
19:38I don't care what else you say, Bobby.
19:39I'm not arguing against you with that.
19:40I'm not saying...
19:41I'm not picking a fight with you.
19:43If you did not think that Matthew Golden and Christian Parker was going to go right at
19:46your secondary versus them handing it off to their no-name, ineffective backfields and third
19:52and fourth-string running backs, that's stupid.
19:54If that was the case.
19:55I think it's the time of possession question.
19:57Everybody gave them S all week for not holding the ball longer.
20:01And Green Bay came out 630 drive, 817 drive, like they were possessing the ball for a long
20:05time, and Dallas was trying to run a game plan that would be a little more methodical.
20:10And ultimately, it destroyed him.
20:12It was a bad decision.
20:12It was a bad coaching job.
20:13And you just decided to pass it for 27 straight downs?
20:1637.
20:1837 or 38.
20:19Yeah.
20:20Had to at that point.
20:20I'm dead serious.
20:21I was like, I would not have even run it the one time.
20:23I would have gone 38 or 38 because they were not...
20:25They're in a position where they always have to play catch-up.
20:28It was 17 to 7, I think, at one point.
20:30Yeah, it was 17 to 7 when they did that.
20:31You don't have to sit there and bail on it.
20:34We've got to be consistent here.
20:35The idea that we all talk about how they have to score every possession.
20:40So even when it's 17 to 7, I think everybody is anticipating you're not going to get stops.
20:43You end up getting them.
20:44But at 17 to 7, when you're in that position, you are thinking, I'm going to need to score.
20:48Yeah, and you can still run to score.
20:50There's no rule that they've implemented in the sport to where if you run the football,
20:54you're not scoring on the possession.
20:55I'm going to go pull up the exact...
20:57It's not...
20:57No, but I'm just saying, I'm going to pull up what we talked about with Green Bay last
21:00year.
21:00When it got to 40 to 40 and we talked about you've got to throw the ball every single
21:04play.
21:04Like, there reaches a point where you're thinking that.
21:06Okay, well, anyone that has ever sniffed the pigskin of a football will say,
21:11if you're going to drop back every single time and throw, that is not conducive to winning.
21:18You can't just sit there and set up your quarterback as a sitting duck, expose your offensive line,
21:24become that predictable.
21:25You can't fall down 17-0, though, or whatever it was.
21:28Like, that's also the problem is that they did it, and it sucks that you're in that position,
21:32but it's also the position you're in because your defense is bleeding.
21:35Yeah, and they also didn't...
21:36I'm so sick of this.
21:38Brian Schottenheimer did this all press...
21:40You're down 17-0, too, because of your offense.
21:42It's not just your defense.
21:44You have a zero.
21:45Like, that side of the scoreboard, and I'm not yelling at you, Bobby.
21:47That is your offense.
21:49You didn't do jack squat.
21:50So, like, yeah, we fell behind.
21:52We fell...
21:52Partly because of you!
21:5350% because of you!
21:55Because you did nothing offensively.
21:57So stop just blaming it all on the defense in the first half.
22:00You have sucked in the past two games, put up an embarrassing production,
22:05especially with the money that Jerry Jones is paying on that side of the ball.
22:08So 17-0 is not just the defense.
22:10It's you.
22:11You're not doing anything with the football.
22:13And that was also a running game that was not moving the ball on those first few drives.
22:17Like, they were not moving the ball, and they were getting themselves in some bad spots with penalties.
22:20The second drive, they opened with two penalties in their first and 20,
22:22and they had to throw it three times.
22:23They got three and out.
22:24Yeah.
22:24And so they put themselves in a hole.
22:26Penalties, runs, all that.
22:28One last thing.
22:29Downs, Revel, Barham, all bad.
22:31All bad.
22:31Downs, Revel.
22:32Downs, Revel, and Barham.
22:33Your young defensive players were all bad.
22:35Really bad.
22:36That's young.
22:36I mean, youth is going to have games.
22:38That's not just young.
22:39Downs is not supposed to be like...
22:40You can make a play as a rookie.
22:42We have not come in here and been like, that's the Revel we saw in Oxnard.
22:46How many times have we done it so far?
22:48Now, he's been hurt and banged up, but everything's been negative.
22:51It's not just all youth.
22:53Don't write it all off to youth.
22:54I wish Caleb Downs showed...
22:55I'm saying, like, you have inconsistent games with you.
22:57Well, where's the positive from Revel?
22:59I haven't seen it.
23:00Well, not from him.
23:01I would give...
23:03Right now, turn your radio down.
23:05Gavin Dawson, so you don't feel better.
23:06Great about this.
23:085%, 10% playmaking-wise of what that kid on San Fran did last night, number 6.
23:15We got that one play from Downs.
23:17Now, you can ask to do different things.
23:19We got it one play from Downs in the Giants game where he knocked the ball loose from Jackson
23:23Dart.
23:23But damn!
23:24Last night, I'd be lying if I was sitting there watching number 6, Mufasa, Mustafa,
23:29whatever his name is, Simba.
23:32I don't know.
23:33I'm like, oh, God, that should be Caleb.
23:35I wish I could get 10%, 15% of that from our draft pick because that kid was a monster.
23:41Caleb has played well at times.
23:43Did we not say that Caleb was going to not pop?
23:45Caleb is not going to pop.
23:46Caleb's not going to have big splash plays.
23:47Caleb cannot be a liability.
23:49He was a liability.
23:50He was not good.
23:51Because it was, like, straight coverage?
23:52Yeah, I mean, he was just getting worked.
23:54He had some bad lapses.
23:56No, he had some mental lapses as well.
23:58All right.
23:59Let's see.
24:01I'm going to be more worked up on a Tuesday than a Monday after this.
