00:00You still need to have fresh flowers in your home in autumn so here's your inspo
00:03for making a seasonal vase arrangement. You might think that summer is the best time for flowers
00:09but actually autumn has got so much to offer so I want to make a design that feels really
00:15seasonal and really cozy and warm. This is a lisianthus it's coming in a beautiful plum tone
00:21with a slight green tinge and this is going to look stunning. This is a burgundy amaranthus
00:28also known as tassel flower. I measure the length of the stem against the vase so I know where that's
00:35going to go. We have got some rudbeckia. So many autumn flowers have two tones three tones in them
00:42and you've got these incredibly dark centers that you can then pick out within other flowers so for
00:48example this incredible dahlia here picks out the colors within other flowers and it's just a subtle
00:54way of toning all of these colors together. As you add more stems create a little bit more structure
01:01it'll be easier for you to keep flowers where you want them to be. This is a chocolate cosmos and
01:07they
01:07genuinely smell like chocolate so I'm going to place this really carefully and make sure it gets seen.
01:14I want to add into this this phlox and I think this is going to add a lovely contrast in
01:21color. Once you've
01:22got all your flowers in it's really just a case of tweaking them a little bit making sure that
01:26the ones you want to be able to see are really visible. Once you're happy with your design place
01:30it on a dining table or a windowsill change the water every two days to keep it nice and fresh
01:36and enjoy the cozy colors of autumn.
