00:00A sure sign you're not from the South?
00:02You don't know what a pallet is.
00:04You move the coffee table out of the way,
00:06you get on the living room rug or carpet,
00:08you grab all the blankets in the house,
00:10you're getting the rest of your pillows in the house,
00:12leaning them up against the couch.
00:13There you have it, a good place to land
00:15for a sleepover or an indoor picnic.
00:18One of my personal favorite meals, chili cheese dogs.
00:21This was a yearly tradition on Halloween,
00:24but also just like any random Friday night
00:25that my mom did not feel like really doing a whole lot.
00:28She was like, we're making chili cheese dogs,
00:30make a pallet on the floor,
00:31you don't have to set the table tonight.
00:32This is one of my most favorite childhood traditions
00:34and I will be continuing this with my daughter.
00:37And it is so much fun.
