00:00The Malaysia Developer Awards, MDA, 2026 brought together the country's leading property developers for an evening recognizing excellence and raising
00:10standards across the industry.
00:12Now in its fifth consecutive year, the awards continue to recognize developers for their achievements in financial performance, sustainability, innovation
00:20and project development.
00:22Co-organized by the Malaysian Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation, FIBC Malaysia and Star Media Group Berhad, SMG,
00:30the awards assess developers across a range of criteria from financial strength to sustainable design and leadership.
00:36Now in its fifth years, the Malaysia Developer Award reflect the shared commitment of Star Media Group and FIBC Malaysia
00:46in recognizing excellence and promoting higher standards across the property sector.
00:53We believe that the measure of good development that stands beyond the building is delivered.
01:02It is equally reflected in how responsibly a business is managed, how well it adapts to evolving market and community
01:13needs,
01:14how sustainability is integrated into its operation and ultimately the long-term value it creates for the people and community
01:25itself.
01:27Property development is ultimately about people.
01:31A development may be completed in three or four years, but its impact on the surrounding community can last for
01:38generations.
01:38The decisions developers make today will influence how our cities function, how communities interact and how future generations live.
01:51That is a tremendous responsibility, but also a tremendous opportunity.
01:56And that brings us to the significance of tonight's Malaysia Developer Awards.
02:01The awards provide an opportunity to recognize those who have demonstrated the vision, commitment and resilience to achieve excellence in
