00:10gathering the elite of the nation's property development industry for an unforgettable gala dinner in Kuala Lumpur.

00:17Marking its fourth consecutive year, the MDA has cemented its status as the nation's premier benchmark for excellence,

00:24recognising 25 top developers whose achievements are setting new global standards for property development.

00:32In his opening remarks, Star Media Group Chief Executive Officer Chan Seng-Fat highlighted the significance of MDA 2025,

00:41which has quickly become a prestigious accolade within the industry.

00:45And with each passing year, we have sought to raise the power in recognising two excellents in real estate development.

00:54In partnership with FIAPC Malaysia, a need synonymous with global property excellence,

01:04we have continued to refine and strengthen our evaluation process to make MDA the most transparent and credible industry benchmark in Malaysia.

01:16FIAPC Malaysia, immediate past President Datuk Firdaus Musa, said the MDA is not merely a ceremony of recognition,

01:23but a reflection of the pulse of Malaysia's property industry.

01:27It celebrates excellence in shaping our cities, enhancing the quality of life and contributing to Malaysia's economic growth.

01:37It sends a clear signal that development in Malaysia is no longer just about building structures,

01:44but about building communities, creating value, and living a meaningful legacy in our built environment.

01:54The gala dinner formally honoured industry leaders across two main categories,

01:59the top of the chart awards and the special awards.

02:02IOI Properties reinforced its overall victory by achieving a remarkable dual win,

02:09taking home both the Best in Quantitative Award and the Best in Qualitative Award,

02:14accolades which recognised its exceptional financial robustness and long-term project sustainability.

02:20Yeah, it's a great honour to receive the recognition from the industry player.

02:26We are very proud, yet humble, by this recognition.

02:31This award also will push us to do better, to deliver better results to our stakeholders.

02:36This award is for the team, for Team IOI.

02:40Avaland Berhad emerged as the top developer,

02:43reinforcing its strong presence and also taking home the Best in Quantitative Award.

02:48We are truly honoured to receive the number one spot in this category,

02:53and we would like to thank the Star Media Group,

02:57the ABSI, the industry judges, and of course our supportive homeowners for this recognition.

03:05This recognition reflects the continuous effort,

03:09the passion and the commitment of the Avaland team

03:13to consistently deliver quality and sustainable homes across the different market segments.

03:22The MDA Special Awards category added another layer of distinction to the evening,

03:28celebrating developers focused on innovation and growth trajectory.

03:32The Rising Star Award, designed to highlight up-and-coming leaders,

03:36was jointly presented to Havis Development Sandirian Berhad and Triterra Sandirian Berhad.

03:42I'm absolutely elated,

03:45because as someone who has won many similar accolades in the past,

03:50now we call a rising star,

03:53when I should be a falling star,

03:55it's what we call a second win,

03:57second win,

03:58having gone to Gangnam for a facelift, you know.

04:02So, I'm of course absolutely happy,

04:05but I think what I'm trying to say is,

04:08this must be a win by the young team that had been set up shortly just before COVID,

04:14and they were able to produce something like the Met Corporate Tower,

04:20it's quite an achievement.

04:21Of course, we were very happy,

04:23and first of all, we need to thank Star and Pepsi Malaysia

04:27awarded the awards for us to recognize us as a rising star.

04:33But of course, throwback 2022, when it started,

04:37we really need to thank our team harvest,

04:39and also all the stakeholders' help.

04:40Without them, we don't have two days.

04:43In a powerful testament to the global aspirations of Malaysian developers,

04:48OSK Property took home the prestigious International Award

04:51for its Melbourne Square development in Australia.

04:54Actually, we are deeply honored and also humbled by the award.

04:58I think on behalf of OSK Property,

05:00I'd like to thank MDA for basically recognizing our effort in Melbourne.

05:05And also, I actually wanted to dedicate this award to all our staff

05:09who have been working very hard for this project,

05:10as well as all our business partners,

05:12and most importantly, our customers who have been supporting us all throughout.

05:16So, without them, I don't think we'll be able to come to hear this stage.

05:19The MDA is a powerful collaboration between FIUPSE Malaysia and SMG,

05:25which has rapidly established itself as the definitive gold standard
