00:25Look, when it comes to any team or the field, I don't care how favorite you are,
00:29how stacked you are in the Dodgers.
00:30The same thing, whether it's the Dodgers or the Rams or whatever these super teams we talk about.
00:35Even when the playoffs started, give me the field over the Dodgers doing something
00:39that's never, ever, ever, ever, ever been done in National League history before.
00:43Do they still look the best?
00:44Are they still the most talented?
00:45Do they have the most starting pitching?
00:47Yes.
00:47All those things are true.
00:49It just didn't feel like this is the year for them, whereas other years it felt like
00:54they were destined to do this, but the way the breaks were going and the luck was falling
00:58and things like that.
01:00It doesn't feel like that this year.
01:01It feels like that's maybe the Brewers or the Rays.
01:04And so to that point, I would always kind of tell you to lean the field over the Rams
01:08right now.
01:08But to your point, I just saw odds from BetOnline the other day that now has the 49ers as the
01:14favorites to win the Super Bowl.
01:16So I think you're getting closer.
01:18And you might, if I'm being honest with you, you might not get better odds than you will
01:22right now.
01:22And I say that because the Rams schedule is now lightening up.
01:25You got the Arizona Cardinals twice, the reeling Chargers at 0-5 coming up as well, the Raiders
01:31who now are finally coming back down to earth.
01:34This is a team in the Rams that could feasibly run off four or five wins in a row here
01:40on their
01:40schedule.
01:41And then those odds are going to keep going back up to where they were as a preseason favorite,
01:46which was like minus 800 or something like that to win the Super Bowl.
01:50So, or plus 800, excuse me.
01:52So, yeah, I would think right now this might be the best odds you're going to get.
01:56This is where Vegas thinks, okay, this team is not doing anything at two and three.
02:00Look at the way they're struggling.
02:01They're panicking on special teams.
02:03They just fired their punter and hired a guy who's 5'7", 150, you know, to be their next
02:10place kicker and field goal kicker.
02:11So I don't think you'll be at better odds than this.
02:14As to your Miles Garrett question, when he went under that knee procedure, which happened
02:18on the Monday following their Australia, coming back from Australia, which was a Thursday
02:23night, they flew back.
02:25So that was, you know, Thursday, Friday, the following Monday.
02:28So we're already in middle of, I guess for most teams, the day after week one started,
02:35but you're already into week two in the NFL season.
02:37I was told this knee procedure was a six week recovery, uh, to get back to, you know, trying
02:44to give it a go and practice and put weight on it and turn and torque and do everything
02:49he needs to do to become Miles Garrett.
02:51So look, once you start the clock, my understanding is that gives you 20 days where he has to return
02:56and that's a roster spot, uh, that you have to give up and all of that.
03:00They need to give them that time.
03:01I know we're being impatient.
03:03I know the four weeks is up starting this week, so he could return, but if you remember
03:07that six week mark, that would put him at trying to do some quick math.
03:12I don't know, like after week seven.
03:14And so we're only following up week five here.
03:17So I think he's two weeks away from the clock, starting returning to practice.
03:21And I think week nine, they traveled to Washington to play the commanders.
03:26If you look at the schedule upcoming, I would circle that as the target date for Miles Garrett
03:32returning to the field in a game.
03:34And then two weeks prior to that is when you'll see him start the clock, return to the practice
03:39field.
03:39It could even come next week.
03:40Cause like I said, it's 20 days.
03:42Uh, it could come as the tail end of next week, but this is more about making sure he's
03:47a hundred percent healthy, that he's ready to go.
03:49You have no setbacks.
03:50Like I said, I was told six weeks before he could return.
03:53We're not quite there yet.
03:54We're about a week or two away and you don't want to start that clock and then have to put
03:59him on the roster when he's not able to play.
04:01And now you've missed the roster spot for someone else who can actually help your team
04:04and impact you on the field.
