00:00Well, let's start with the linebacker conversation, Joe.
00:02He says he has no problem with the linebackers, the way they're playing,
00:04while talking about Shaq Thompson and possibly Caleb Elamzor.
00:09Do you have a problem with how the linebackers are playing?
00:13It's an interesting conversation, Jeremy.
00:16I think it all just depends on what your expectations were for these linebackers.
00:20I don't know that I've learned anything about Terrell Bernard or Dorian Williams this year.
00:24I think Terrell Bernard probably playing his best football in two years.
00:27Not a great, you know, not a high bar to clear, but I haven't learned anything.
00:32I think he's been who he's been.
00:34Dorian Williams, like maybe you would have liked to have seen him like really emerge
00:38and take hold of the job in a contract year.
00:41But he's kind of been the player he's been throughout his tenure.
00:44Flashy, physical, runs around, has some coverage issues.
00:48You know, he's not always going to be where he's going to be, needs to be,
00:50but, you know, he's played to the level that he's shown us that he is.
00:55And so it gets you interested in other things.
00:59It gets you interested in a little more Caleb Elarm's or it certainly gets you interested
01:02in Shaq Thompson, who I think is a better player than Terrell Bernard.
01:06But I think the challenging thing is like just being grounded in the conversation
01:12and asking ourselves, well, what did you expect?
01:15I think these guys have played to the caliber that they've told us they are.
01:19And, you know, it seems to be the flavor of criticism right now.
01:22And I get it like they're not playing good enough, but I don't think I've learned
01:25anything new about them other than they're the players they've always been.
