00:00Balatro's hotly anticipated Giganto update got hit with a big delay last year. The 1.1
00:06patch was shunted from 2025 all the way into 2026. But now it is 2026, and it's all starting
00:12to feel quite real. Balatro dev LocalThunk is even manifesting on Discord to drop tidbits
00:17about the ever-closer new content. In addition to teasing upcoming new content, new jokers,
00:23vouchers, a rework of Bluestakes, Thunk also says development is going way better than
00:28it has done before. I promise I'm cooking in the way that is both best for me and ultimately
00:33for the game, he said. This past year of dev has probably been the most fulfilling work
00:38I've ever done. Once 1.1 is out, that's likely the end of the road. That's likely it, says
00:43LocalThunk. Don't expect any more than that. But it sounds like we're in for a lot more
00:47Balatro, so I'm not too upset. As for when we're getting it, Thunk's still not saying
00:52anything specific. Check out the full story on PCGamer.com and follow us here for more
