00:12the site in 2024 after the track had fallen into disrepair following its closure in 2018.
00:19Around 20 regular volunteers have been working to restore the 1km route at Queen Elizabeth II
00:26Country Park. Group member Christine Heath says the lease will allow them to apply for funding.
00:33Northumberland County Council says it's contributed £15,000 towards the platform
00:38and £5,000 for rolling stock.
