00:22a white shirt and a khaki pant or a black pant very much mirroring a typical political event that you
00:29usually see in Tamil Nadu and even in south of India.
00:33So therefore raising a lot of questions about the possibility of Sivakarthika's future entry into politics. He has done quite
00:40a lot of super hit films in Tamil Nadu the likes of the recent film that he did the national
00:47film.
00:47It was called Amaran about a martyr soldier who died in action from Tamil Nadu, Major Mukund Varadarajan. He was
00:57killed in action. There was a book also that was written about him which was later made into a movie.
01:02It was Sivakarthika who starred as Major Mukund Varadarajan, the brave hero from Tamil Nadu who lost his life in
01:08action.
01:09So therefore raising a lot of questions about Sivakarthika and possibly following the same footsteps as Chief Minister Vijay in
01:18many many of his audio launch speeches he has spoken in full appreciation of Chief Minister Vijay calling him as
01:25his inspiration, as his elder brother.
01:27So therefore has Vijay really sort of inspired many of the Hollywood actors to sort of also enter politics? That's
01:37the big question now.
01:37In fact, interestingly, in Sivakarthika's speech when he was speaking to his fan club administrators, he spoke about the likes
01:46of Dr. MGR, he spoke about Captain Vijay Kant and gave examples about how these icons in Tamil Nadu did
01:53good things for the people without really looking at who they were, what they were, which class they belonged to,
01:58which region they were, which caste they were.
01:59So therefore, he said that we all must become like them and do good things to people like how MGR
02:05has done, like how Captain Vijay Kant has done, like how Ratan Tata has done and like how Mother Teresa
02:11has done.
02:12So therefore, is this a political hint? Is there in the minds of many, many of those who have listened
02:17to this whole speech by Sivakarthika?
02:19In fact, recently also Danush, like I was mentioning before, also held a similar speech where he had also spoken
02:26in a similar tone, saying that his yakam, which in English translates to movement, has a purpose.
02:34And that's exactly what Sivakarthika also said.
02:35The whole purpose of this movement or this fan club is not just to come, enjoy, relax and go back
02:40home.
02:41You should also do good to people.
02:43It's okay even if you don't change the world overnight, but make sure that you at least touch the lives
02:48and change the lives of at least four people.
02:51That's what Sivakarthika said.
02:52All of these really hinting at being there for the larger good, for the larger service, in public service.
03:00So is he really diversifying and can we see another Hollywood star enter politics is the big anticipation really in
03:08the minds of many, many people in Tamil Nadu.
03:10And the people here in Tamil Nadu really seem to welcome it.
03:13The lines between politics and cinema in Tamil Nadu particularly, it's blurred.
03:18They're not really different.
03:20So therefore, if at all Sivakarthika does enter politics, how much would be the reception for him?
03:29Would people really accept him?
03:31Because is the timing really going to work out for any new entrant in politics?
03:36Because we already have a lot of people in fray.
03:38We have Vijay, we have Stalin, then we have Edapadipadiswami and we have Annamalai as well in the fray.
03:46And now next, it looks like we are going to be having Danush.
03:49And is Sivakarthika also joining that fray or would there be a problem of too many?
03:54How would the people of Tamil Nadu and the voters of Tamil Nadu even react?
03:58Is there a problem of too many to pick and choose from?
04:01There's so many things that's happening in Tamil Nadu.
04:03And the recent speech by Sivakarthika and the way the whole event unfolded.
04:08And the fact that he called his fan club members and administrators and he named it as Sivakarthika and Narpani
04:15Iyakam.
04:15All of these hints towards politics.
04:17And that's why there is so much more speculations about Sivakarthika and possible ambition to enter into politics.
04:25And let's be very clear that neither has Danush nor Sivakarthika publicly spoken about this.
04:30All of this is just speculation at the moment looking at how they have been making their public appearances.
04:35And they are yet to formally react on that.
04:38But until then, we keep thinking whether is there a problem of too many?
04:42And one thing that's very clear about the people of Tamil Nadu is that they exactly know who to vote
04:48for.
04:48They're very, very smart.
04:49The people of Tamil Nadu are not the ones who get easily carried away by religion or anything of that
04:58sort.
04:58So, therefore, it's going to be quite interesting to watch out for.
