00:00The DMK is now alleging that the TVK is distributing freebies and bribes in Dharapuram ahead of tomorrow.
00:07DMK's Senthil Balaji has claimed that sarees, lamps are being distributed to voters and that biryani is being served to
00:16voters tonight.
00:17He claims all of this is happening in Dharapuram.
00:19I will highlight that Dharapuram falls in the Kongu belt which is also considered a stronghold of the likes of
00:26Senthil Balaji.
00:27This comes even as left leaders have also alleged cash for vote allegations.
00:32Now is there going to be a formal investigation or not remains to be seen.
00:36But Pramod Madhav is joining us with more details on this.
00:38Prabod, the leader against whom the TVK is constantly accused of giving bribes, of handing out cash to voters,
00:45is now turning the tables and levelling the same allegation against the TVK?
00:50Well, it surely is.
00:51And Akshita, I actually also see that he says like in a particular booth in a place called Gundaram,
00:56you know, like Sari and Kamachi, but like it's a kind of a lamp and everything is being given over
01:00there.
01:01This is how Senthil Balaji, the man apparently who has been constantly targeted by TVK,
01:06called him, calling him as Karur Company and, you know, Karur Balaji himself,
01:10he is actually raising this allegation that money is being given.
01:13In fact, he's not the only person in the past two days that has been the Communist Party of India,
01:17Marxist, Ubin also, Shanbugam in particular and CPI,
01:20both have also been alleging that money has been given heavily.
01:23And the first person, first party with maximum number of money that has been given is TVK
01:28and the candidates over there.
01:29So, I mean, the voters are actually asking them to max the amount of money that has been given over
01:33there.
01:34These are the allegations that have been raised by even CPI, CPI.
01:37And now we have Senthil Balaji as well, you know,
01:40posting pictures on X app stating that this is being given over there, Akshita.
01:44All right, Pramod, we'll track the latest that comes in on this
01:47on whether there's a formal complaint given to the Election Commission.
01:50Thanks for the moment for joining us.
01:51We've set the stage for you for the bipoles taking place tomorrow.
01:55But also, like I said, a very colourful campaign that we've seen in the last few days
01:59in the run-up to the voting day tomorrow.
02:03Let's get you a round-up of some of those images.
02:07Chief Minister Vijay led a 40-kilometre roadshow on the final day of campaigning
02:12in which he was also seen riding a bullock cart for some part of that roadshow.
02:22In Madhuran Takam last week, this was the Chief Minister driving a tractor to an agricultural field.
02:28He was also seen meeting the farmers, clearly outreach in both seats to the farming community.
02:42Chief Minister Vijay was seen stopping the roadshow to meet two wheelchair-bound supporters.
02:46This was again during the Dharapuram roadshow yesterday.
02:54Sharing tea with, in fact, the locals while seeking support for the party's candidate.
02:59This was the Chief Minister in Madhuran Takam again trying to send out a message
03:03that he was one among the people.
03:05Did you see that?
