00:44Tension is escalating as AIADMK carders surround police station and leaders have left after around five hours of detention.
00:51So this is what we're seeing in AIADMK vs TVK.
00:55A new escalation where now we're seeing that AIADMK is making personal remarks against Tamil Nadu CM after which some
01:01detention also took place.

01:06Pramod, tell us what really is happening when we look at AIADMK vs TVK.
01:10Now some personal remarks were given against TVK Chief Minister Vijay after which even detention happened of some AIADMK leaders.
01:20Well, Jessica, this is the last day for the campaign in Dharampuram and Madharadakam constituencies which are going to face
01:27the five bite balls on 6th of October.
01:29And like there have been like continuous kind of campaigns by the TVK, AIADMK and DMK leaders.
01:35MK Stalin was there, Odin Stalin was there.
01:37Now, Edapadikeya Parishwamy and other leaders from AIADMK is also present over there.
01:40And during such a kind of incident, what happened is that Selva Kumran, who is the actual Dharampuram Rural District
01:45Secretary,
01:45and one more important town secretary were apparently detained by the police.
01:49This led to a kind of a major chaos with AIADMK leaders gathering outside the police station and questioning like
01:56why they were detained.
01:57And they called it a kind of like high-handed, nice and mighty TVK government.
02:00However, the situation went out of hand while a set of AIADMK leaders over there started like chanting,
02:07which means like, are you afraid? Are you afraid? Husband of Trisha? Are you afraid?
02:11This was absolutely unnecessary because it's a political issue and quite a lot of things were happening.
02:15But the crowd that gathered over there started chanting like this, causing huge chaos.
02:19And post five hours of Selva Kumran being detained reportedly, he was let go and the crowd dispersed from that,

02:26Right. Stay with us as we also show you these slogans which were being, you know,
02:32started outside the Dharampur district police station. Listen into what exactly happened there.
03:20Pramol Madhu, we've been hearing these slogans which were being raised and you mentioned, you translated it for us saying
03:26that they were calling him Trisha's husband and this is not the first time that CM Vijay has been associated
03:33with Trisha despite him denying these allegations.
03:36So, and last time we saw DMK, leader of opposition also putting him in the same sort of circumstances and
03:43this time now AIA DMK is doing the same thing.
03:46So, unfortunately, it is sure, Jessica. The important aspect over here is that this is a bifal for two constancies
03:51and there are quite a lot of things that could actually be discussed, be it kind of like 150 days
03:56of TVK rule, any kind of issues.
03:57They have like quite a lot, like I said, about the, you know, governance that could actually be brought to
04:02the people and such.
04:03But for detention of AIA DMK, office bearers and, you know, that completely turning out to be such an issue,
04:08this is definitely, you know, we can certainly say things are going out of hand, you know, fortunately, for just
04:13two boy balls for the, in the state of Tamil Nadu right now, Jessica.

04:22look at what is also happening in the Dharapuram bi-poll.
04:27At the Dharapuram bi-poll, battle is now leaving a bitter taste in the mouth after a massive war of
04:33words has broken about between DMK and TVK following Stalin's shocking body shaming of the TVK candidate Satya Bama.
04:40CM Vijay slammed the DMK chief, accusing him of mocking a woman using indecent language and of deriving perverse pleasure
04:49from the mockery, saying that Stalin has created a culture of obscenity.
04:52Meanwhile, Satya Bama said the remarks had left her personally distressed.
04:57TVK has now taken the matter to the election commission, alleging that Stalin crossed the line during campaigning.
05:02The controversy has also drawn criticism from DMK allies CPM, which called the remarks a form of character assassination and
05:10said they were not befitting Stalin's stature.
05:12But the DMK has rejected the allegations, saying Stalin's remarks were about Satya Bama's political switches and were being twisted.

06:55It's against election model code, that's why we gave a complaint against David Munayatakalagam, Mr. M. K. Stalin.
07:03Definitely the election commission will take action.
07:05He will not normally do that. He might have talked about shifting allegiance in politics.
07:16It is not anything connected to physical appearance. He might have said that you have shifted to some other parties.
07:30That is a general comment everybody makes.
07:35Now let me bring back in Pramod Madhav who's been following and tracking the story for us.
07:40Pramod, we heard the remarks from Stalin also and it's really distasteful for a leader of that stature to make
07:46these remarks.
07:47In fact, CPM as an ally of DMK are also disassociating themselves and we've also heard Satyapamma saying it's not
07:54really dignified for him to be making such remarks.
07:57Take us through this controversy.
07:59Well, quite a lot of things was spoken by the former chief minister, DMK president, M. K. Stalin, Dharapuram, Jessica.
08:04And at one point he even started calling the chief minister as bro, CM bro, CM sir and things like
08:10that.
08:10But at a certain point, what happened is that he wanted to highlight that this particular kind of election is
08:16being imposed upon the people of Dharapuram and also Madhavandakam considering the AIDMK, MLAs who won, decided to quit immediately
08:25and join TVK, calling it as kind of MLAs being purchased by TVK.
08:29Unfortunately, while trying to highlight this particular situation, what the former chief minister did is that he said that Satyapamma
08:35is also being called as Pettibamma, which means suitcase Bama, because he alleges that she got quite a lot of
08:41costs of money to actually join TVK after resigning from AIDMK and the MLA Post.
08:46But then he also said that there is also another name for her, which is Balatibamma, which is somersault or
08:51like making a kind of somersault.
08:53And then he went ahead and said that I don't know how she could do a somersault with that kind
08:58of a body.
08:59So that is what has turned out to be a huge controversy.
09:01DMK claims that it was a kind of a mention where he wants to talk about Satyapamma actually quitting one
09:06party and jumping to another.
09:08It's kind of like a somersault.
09:09But very clearly TVK has taken up this issue stating that you cannot body shame anybody for any instance.
09:15And that's the reason they have filed a complaint right now, Jessica.
09:18Absolutely.
09:18So now we're seeing that this row is now escalating right before the Tamil Nadu bipoles, where especially we have
09:23seen that these are two AIA DMK candidates which have also shifted parties and come to TVK.
09:29So naturally the bipoles are also heating up.
09:32And because of all of that, we're also seeing these war awards playing out.
