Iran has strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the United Arab Emirates, warning that Israel’s growing presence in the region could have serious consequences for regional peace and stability.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Netanyahu’s visit to the UAE is “condemnable” and reflects what Tehran describes as Israel’s hostile policies toward Iran and other countries in the Middle East.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has accused Israel of posing a security threat to Iran and other regional states. It urged countries in the region to remain vigilant and carefully consider the potential consequences of Israel’s expanding regional engagement.
Iran also called on regional governments to uphold their responsibility for maintaining peace and stability. Tehran said regional countries should not allow their territories to be used for activities directed against other countries in the region.
Meanwhile, the official news agency of the United Arab Emirates reported that Netanyahu met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Israel and the UAE, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation and further develop ties between the two countries.
The visit comes amid ongoing regional tensions and highlights the contrasting positions between Iran and the UAE regarding Israel’s role and diplomatic engagement in the Middle East.
