Iran's senior military spokesman, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, has claimed that Iran's armed forces have complete superiority over the Strait of Hormuz and are capable of taking the initiative in any military action in the strategically important waterway.
According to media reports, Shekarchi criticized recent statements by the commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) regarding the protection of oil tankers and the transportation of around 1 billion barrels of oil over the past two months.
Iran Rejects CENTCOM Claims
