00:01So there is all of this stuff rolling around with Drake May and the Patriots now about whether or not
00:08Drake May is leaking to his own agency, which he shares an agency with Dan Orlovsky and other media types,
00:18that he's not happy with Mike Vrabel, and he is not happy with what's going on with New England.
00:24Now, this could very well just be typical nonsense, New England media crap, but this is not.
00:33The Patriots yesterday put another player, Greg Van Rotten, on IR.
00:39That makes 17 players that have gone to the IR this season for the Patriots.
00:47That number of 17 is one more than the entire number of players placed on IR last year by the
00:57Patriots on their way to a Super Bowl appearance.
01:00So while everyone is talking about Drake May and how poor Drake May is playing, we do have to acknowledge
01:09that the Patriots are doing what many people expected to have happen, that the injury luck that they had last
01:16year was going to change and was going to turn.
01:20That the Patriots, with having so much success with staying healthy and having success in low-scoring, one-score-type
01:26football games like they did, that year-to-year, the NFL, you don't keep doing that.
01:32That will change, and it has, through three weeks, the Patriots have 17 players now on the IR.
01:39They have two offensive linemen who are now on the IR, starters.
01:43They have A.J. Brown, obviously, who has gotten hurt.
01:45Like, this team is so banged up, and now they go to Buffalo to play the Bills, and I am
01:52still stunned this number is not higher than what it is.

03:04For a guy who came in with a ton of hype, he has been an absolute bust for the Patriots

03:13Pop Douglas was your best receiver on Sunday for New England against Jacksonville, and that's a guy who's like five

03:21That is not an NFL receiver you want to be relying on.

03:27They couldn't get the ball to Hunter Henry, and Drake May has no confidence, absolutely zero confidence in himself.
03:36They got to get back to just playing carefree, but expectations are a difficult thing.
03:43And when you're 23, 24 years old, and you're expected to be one of the elites that this Drake May,

03:57doing all sorts of commercials, and you and your wife are the bell of the ball.
04:01Well, all of a sudden, everything falls apart, and now it's leaking out that not only is Drake May unhappy
04:10with the Patriot coaching staff, is that Mike Vrabel very well might be unhappy with Drake May, because Drake May

04:22It was not, when Mike Vrabel took over, he inherited Drake May, and now the Patriots have to decide whether
04:30they want to extend Drake May and give him a monster contract.
04:34Do they want to pick up the fifth year on Drake May?
04:37And there's a lot of questions going on right now about this franchise, about where things are going, and how
04:44this is all going to unfold in New England.
04:46But the injury bug has to be looked at.
04:49It's got to be talked about, because the Patriots are so banged up right now.
04:53They need A.J. Brown back in the worst way, and it's at least two weeks, but maybe more than
04:59that for the Patriots.
