00:00If we're looking overall at Week 18, Cap, it is so interesting why we're having a blast today.

00:04Trey's trying to see who's actually in, who's out, who wants to win, who doesn't.

00:07If we just pick out the New England Patriots, and let's just say owner Robert Kraft says,

00:11you know what, you're going to be back next year, Gerard Mayo, but we need to lose this football game.

00:15Now, granted, you can't say that because you get in a little bit of hot water,

00:17like the Miami Dolphins did a few years ago with their head coach, Brian Flores.

00:21But how do teams operate on the final game of the season, when technically,

00:24a lot of these teams, Cap, don't want to win, but you still have to put somewhat of your best foot forward?

00:30Yeah, Don, here's the way it works. Coaches want to win, particularly those, if you look at New England, right?

00:35I'm not saying Gerard Mayo won't be back, but just keep an eye on what happens over the situation

00:41over the next 24 to 40 hours. They thought they'd be a little bit better football team.

00:44The roster's not very good. But when you're in New England, it's like you talk about,

00:50who would they be resting at this point? That's kind of roster that they have.

00:54It's just not very good. Bill Belichick, who's now, as we know, at University of North Carolina,

00:59he left that roster as one of the top, probably bottom five to seven in the National Football League.

01:06It's just not a very good roster. They do have their quarterback, though.

01:08I can tell you that. They're very happy with Drake May's development.

01:11But it's around Drake May, Donny, that they've got to do a better job developing.

01:16See, that's another situation. Front offices also have to be held accountable

01:20because that roster that's been put out there for New England is, again, bottom five to bottom seven.
