05:26the fifth best quarterback in the league.

06:25And so I'm not totally hating on Harbaugh, but I do think he's overrated.
06:30But what about McDaniel?
06:31He was supposed to put his stuff on him.

06:34And if you go back to that game and I love signing what you said earlier about Green
06:38Bay and taking points off the board.
06:40And I went and looked at every, every field goal that was less than 30 yards in week one.
06:46And I was looking at the circumstance and just trying to figure out, you know, what teams
06:50chose to, you know, either kick or not go for it.
06:53Cause the Niners got down to what the, the two yard line.
06:55I think it was the two and they kicked it.
06:57And almost every other team that was inside the 10 and kicked, I think eight of the 10
07:04actually won the game.
07:05And I know that the Packers weren't in that spot, but the idea of taking points off the
07:10board and you mentioned earlier about, you know, field goals and how it's not as important
07:14as it once was depends on what you actually are trying to do.

07:19And in the, in the, in the Packers situation, there's 13 minutes to go.

07:24He makes the field goal from 40 to put them up eight.

07:28Now he takes the points off the board and it's fourth and one.
07:31So what can happen from that point on that's better?

09:00You go up eight points against a backup quarterback and, and I would think within the fourth quarter,
09:07the worst case scenario you're looking at is about five to six minutes left in the game.

09:19So I, you know, the whole analytics thing for me, we've watched this a million times now
09:24in sports where is a fine line between we are playing the percentages and we are playing
09:31overly arrogant.

09:38It's just, we're telling you what to do.
09:40I mean, it's probably been close to a decade, but I love what Ross said to you guys earlier
09:45about what Willard just said, which is you're taking on a backup quarterback.
09:50So the spreadsheet says fourth and one, you go for it.
09:54And yeah, the spreadsheet, uh, the odds are that you, you get this and you move on and
09:58you go ahead and, you know, get the touchdown, you win.
10:00But if you look at the context, you've got a backup quarterback on the other side and you've
10:06already made the field goal.
10:07It's not an if it's three on the board.
10:10So you go up eight and you guys actually had me earlier, really twisted is eight points,
10:16a one score game or not.
10:18And honestly, what we do for a living, we would just debate that for an hour, you know,
10:23me, Mark, I'm like super, I'm like Stiney, like, you know, captain syntax and captain accuracy.

10:29Well, what I think is, yes, it's a one score game, but then you guys had me all wrapped
10:36around my own, like Honda fit because you need to score and then get another score, which
10:42is a score.
