Plastic bags seem to be a solution for several communities in Metro Detroit looking to block their Flock cameras. WWJ's Luke Sloan reports.

00:04You can see in the corner of your screen behind me this flop camera, one of two in South Lyon,
00:10now covered up by a black trash bag. Last night, South Lyon police covered both these cameras up
00:16with these plastic trash bags, one of them here at 10 Mile and Dixborough, the other a bit further
00:21east down 10 Mile. South Lyon joining a number of Metro Detroit communities covering or getting
00:27rid of their flop cameras over data privacy concerns. Last week, the city of St. Clair
00:32Shores covered their flop cameras in trash bags, similar to what you're seeing behind me. Other
00:37communities like Westland, Ferndale and Clausen choosing to get rid of their contracts with
00:42block altogether.
