00:09I wanted to ask you, talk to me about your faith and how God influences your work,
00:17because I really feel so connected to God when I hear your voice, and it feels very anointed.
00:23And you adding so much of that into your music, I would love to know your relationship with God and
00:30faith.
00:30Talk to me about that.
00:32Well, obviously, there's no way to really tell my full relationship, because it's a private relationship with God.
00:39And always, God has gotten me through everything I've ever gone through.
00:45And so making music, and especially kind of gospel-tinged songs, it's something that's just uplifting.
00:56And faith is everything for me.
00:59And I'm glad that you felt that way.
01:03That really means a lot.
01:04It's literally in every song.
01:07It's like even the songs that aren't even faith-centric,
01:10it's a frequency in your voice that really takes me to that place.
