00:00Some Democrats running in tough races for the Senate, say that they won't support you as a leader.

00:06What do you make of that, and do you think you still have the ability to lead this caucus in

00:11Democrats?

00:12My focus is winning back the Senate. That's been my whole focus.

00:16And as a caucus, we're united and strong and working together to accomplish that.

00:28Oh, Chucky. Chucky Chuck Schumer. Yeah, he's in some hot water, along with Hakeem Jeffries.

00:36Because remember, I've been talking about there's an internal civil war going on within the Democrat Party, and they tried

00:46to hide it.

00:47They tried to keep it behind closed doors, but eventually, you know, you can only keep that kind of thing

00:54behind closed doors for so long before it begins to spill out.

00:59And that is the point that we are at now.

01:03And with the upcoming midterms, obviously, there's a whole lot of pushing back and forth going on because Democrats are

01:11obviously hoping that they win the midterms.

01:13You know, take the Senate and take the House, which they've got a pretty decent chance of taking the House.

01:20The Senate looks a little more bleak for them, but still a shot, still a shot.

01:26I'm hoping and I still feel like we will, Republicans will hold the Senate as well as hold the House,

01:34albeit barely hold the House.

01:36Like, we might be up one, maybe two if we're lucky, okay?

01:42Like, it's going to be razor thin, razor thin, in my humble opinion.

01:49And then in the House, I expect about a three-seat lead.

01:53In the Senate, excuse me, in the Senate, I expect about a three-seat lead.

01:58But, so, Democrats are, you know, kind of preparing, and a lot of them have already come out and publicly

02:05said that they would not support Chuck Schumer as leader of the Senate.

02:12If you are elected to the Senate, would you support the current top Democrat in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, to

02:19lead the party forward in that body?

02:22Right. I mean, no disrespect for Chuck Schumer, but we need new leadership.

02:26We need new, younger leadership, young blood.

02:28We need people who, and I don't mean just age, but people who are bringing fresh ideas and fresh leadership.

02:33In Kansas, Chuck Schumer is a liability for Democrats.

02:36And we've got to have leaders that can unite us, bring us together, not just Democrats, but bring together Democrats

02:42and Republicans to solve real problems.

02:44And I think people are frustrated with the gridlock and the sense that people are not working together to solve

02:49problems.

02:49And the Farm Bill is a case in point where the Republicans, you know, the Republicans actually have compromised a

02:54bit and brought a compromise forward.

02:55The Democrats are saying, yeah, we're not going to go there.

02:57And when I travel across Kansas, I'm hearing farmers say, please, the folks in the ag industry, please help us

03:04with this.

03:04We've got to get this through.

03:05And as an independent-minded Democrat, I'm going to work with Republicans on that, and we're going to get this

03:10through.

03:11And that's true for a lot of things right now.

03:13I think people are frustrated.

03:13We have to do better.

03:15So you wouldn't support Schumer for leader?

03:18I'm not supporting Schumer for leader.

03:20I'm saying let's look to see who might we have that would be a better leader to unite us and

03:25bring us together.

03:33Yo, and it's funny because, you know, the folks like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries,

03:40they've always tried to play this game of, you know, straddling the fence, and now it's coming back to bite

03:48them because the monster they made is now coming back home, and that monster doesn't like them.

03:55When they had the opportunity to kick the monster to the curb a long time ago and make sure that

04:01monster never returned, they thought it was great because it was helping them politically.

04:10And now it's backfiring.

04:14Because as you heard there, you know, Chuck Schumer, obviously they've had, you know, behind closed doors conversations about this

04:21kind of stuff.

04:22And that's why you saw Chuck Schumer basically kind of change the subject and not really answer the question when

04:27he was asked directly about all of this going on.

04:31And Hakeem Jeffries has obviously done the exact same thing when, you know, asked the reverse.

04:39And so, you know, they've had behind the scenes conversations because, of course, Democrats, you know, I would love to

04:45be a fly on the wall in the Democrat Party.

04:49Because I guarantee you there's meetings all the time and all they do is go over talking points.

04:58What are they going to say when they get asked this type of question or this question here?

05:03How are they going to answer it?

05:05What's the latest thing that they want to push?

05:08Like when they were doing the whole J.D. Vance's weird thing and they all were repeating the same thing,

05:13which was completely obvious.

05:14But, you know, of course, mainstream media is unbiased, even though they constantly repeat the same things that Democrats say.

05:21Interesting how that works.

05:22But, yeah, I want to play this clip from Harry Enton, CNN.

05:30Because, yeah, he dives into some of the polling behind all of this and it's not looking good for old

05:40So what am I talking about here?

05:43Well, the call is coming from inside the House because Democrats, on their own leaders, they don't like their own

05:49leaders.

05:50I dare say they despise their own leaders.

05:51And this is the big difference from what we saw back in 2018, just before Democrats were trying to take

05:56back the U.S. House of Representatives that fall.

05:59Take a look here.

06:00Net approval of congressional Dem leaders among Democrats back in 2018.

06:04Their net approval rating was plus 19 points.

06:06Hey, that's pretty good.

06:08Two thumbs up.

06:09Now we're talking about two thumbs down.

06:13Minus 12 points.

06:15What a different world that we are in right now.

06:17Now, Democrats do not like, they despise their own leadership.

06:21This is a shift away among Democrats of 31 points.

06:25They are 31 points south of the border compared to where they were at this point back in 2018.

06:31And this is D on D crime.

06:35How about Chuck Schumer?

06:36Yeah.

06:36What is driving these numbers?

06:37Well, take a look at Chuck Schumer's numbers.

06:39I mean, hello.

06:41Okay.

06:42Schumer's net favorability with Democrats.

06:44Back in 2018, right?

06:45It was plus 28 points.

06:46But, of course, Democrats did not win back the United States Senate during the 2018 cycle.

06:51In 2018, in 2020, when they did, it was plus 33 points.

06:55Look at where it is now.

06:56A Marquette University Law School poll out earlier this month.

06:59It's minus five points.

07:00Johnny B on the side shaking his head.

07:02These are no bueno, no good numbers.

07:04And this is among Democrats.

07:07Democrats hate Chuck Schumer.

07:08They don't like Chuck Schumer.

07:09And this is why you're seeing a lot of Democratic Senate candidates on the trail when being asked about whether

07:15or not they want Chuck Schumer to be the next leader in the United States Senate for Democrats.

07:18They'll either try and push off the question or say, no, this is a decline, Johnny B, of what?

07:2458-point difference from where we were back the last time that Democrats were trying to take back the United

07:30States Senate during the 2020 cycle.

07:32Any historical precedent for this?

07:33Yeah.

07:33This is the whole thing.

07:39I mean, just look here.

07:40The least popular Dem Senate leader ever since at least 1985 when we can track this.

07:45The minus five among Democrats.

07:48Chuck Schumer is taking the cake when it comes to unpopularity for Senate leaders among Democrats, among their own party.

07:55This is what I keep hitting on right now.

07:56This is not the overall electorate where Chuck Schumer is very much in the red.

07:59We're talking about among Democrats.

08:02Chuck Schumer is in the red.

08:05I mean, you just don't ever see these types of numbers among Democrats.

08:12And once again, if CNN is reporting those numbers, you can bet it's a lot worse than that.

08:19It's a whole lot worse.

08:21And, you know, so this is going to be interesting to watch play out.

08:26This is going to be very, very interesting to watch this whole thing, you know, figure it figure itself out.

08:34I think the only way that Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries come out of this unscathed is Democrats losing.

08:46And even then, there's going to be some folks that are going to blame them anyway, even though I don't

08:51see it as their fault.

08:51Well, partially, it's mainly, you know, the far leftists, the communists that are trying to push this crazy agenda.

08:59It's left a stain on all Democrats now.

09:02The Abigail Spanbergers who, you know, ran as a moderate, but as soon as she got in office, sprinted towards

09:09the left.

09:10That's left a major, major stain on the Democrat Party.

09:13So in reality, it's not really their fault.

09:17I mean, they had a part in it, of course, but it's mainly other folks' faults.

09:24So I think that is the only way they come out on top because then they can come out and

09:28say,

09:28see, we were right, you far leftists, you're not electable.

09:35You're not electable.

09:36We need more establishment guys.

09:38We need more middle of the road kind of people.

09:42That's the only way that I see this playing out where they can keep their positions.

09:47Because if not, if Democrats happen to win in the midterms, if they win the House and they win the

09:51Senate,

09:52which, geez, Louise, let's not let that happen, guys.

09:57Can we get out of vote, please?

10:00Because I don't want to see that.

10:02I really don't.

10:04But if they manage to pull it off,

10:09Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are in major, major poop.

10:26Like I said, it's going to be interesting to watch if AOC takes Chuck Schumer's position
