00:00Here is the new Vertigo Exotic in the Division 2. It's part of the current Red Moon event.
00:06You can get a hold of this and people are already asking me what build should they run it on.
00:10So we're going to talk about that in this video and we'll take a look at it first.
00:14Here is the gun. This is what it looks like. I think it looks like a toy gun.
00:17My daughter wants me to buy one of these from the toy shop at the weekend.
00:21Good thing is there's a better skin we can throw on this if you want to purchase one though.
00:25Some people love it, the skin though. It does look pretty cool.
00:27But there's a better skin we'll show you in a moment.
00:30And this is what it looks like. I got crit chance on mine. I do want Detox.
00:34You get the Startling Talent. Whenever this weapon makes an enemy suppress, the enemy is applied to Sordience.
00:39And you and your allies receive 30% damage to target out of cover for 15 seconds.
00:43You get a crit chance rail on it, 50 plus rounds on it, 15% reload speed and 10%
00:50rate of fire.
00:50It is an exotic GR9. A lot of people are excited by this one.
00:56And here is what the other skin looks like.
00:59It is a reactive skin. You can purchase it in the store right now.
01:02And I do think it looks a hell of a lot better.
01:05Now what we're going to do is discuss this on a build, give you some gameplay.
01:09After the gameplay, I'm going to talk about what I'm most excited about using this gun on.
01:14That's how this video is going to go.
01:16And please excuse my cold. I know I sound awful.
01:19It's just what it is. Thank you for putting up with that.
01:21Now this can go on any build. Because of the way it works, you don't specifically build around it.
01:27You're basically going to be doing damage as normal with this gun.
01:30It can fit on many different builds.
01:32And the talent just gives you and your team extra damage to target out of cover.
01:36There's a lot that you can do with that.
01:38So you've probably got a build already that you can just throw this onto.
01:41I've got multiple.
01:42I'm just going to throw it here on my tier 10 striker build.
01:45I'm not saying this is the best build for it by any means.
01:48But what I am saying is that it will just fit on to loads of different builds.
01:53Okay. So just bear that in mind.
01:55Now this I run in tier 10 escalations.
01:58We're going to go and do a heroic mission now with it.
02:01I'm 4-piece striker.
02:03I am a Cheska holster.
02:04And I've got the Fox's Prayer Kneepads.
02:07Now one thing I would say.
02:08It probably does play well with the Fox's Prayer Kneepads.
02:12Because that comes with damage to target out of cover.
02:15So when you are proccing the talent.
02:17When you are suppressing enemies and getting more damage to target out of cover.
02:21You're investing more into it.
02:22So it kind of makes sense.
02:24I am running the machine gun here.
02:25You could also say grenade launcher for even more damage to target out of cover.
02:29And you can really invest in that if you want to.
02:31That's something you can do.
02:32I'm not sure what the fire rate is on this gun.
02:35Let's have a look at it.
02:36One thing I could do.
02:37I've got 938 RPM.
02:39If I wanted to.
02:39I could take the Cheska out there.
02:41I could throw a Salvo on.
02:42There's lots you could do with this.
02:43If you've got a DPS build that you already use an LMG on.
02:46It's just going to fit in perfectly.
02:48The stats on this build look like this.
02:49It's 56.4% crit chance right now.
02:52It's 168.7% critical hit damage right now.
02:55So we're hitting quite hard on the crits.
02:57It's going to work well on any build like this.
03:00I've got crit damage everywhere.
03:02Bar the Kneepads.
03:02The Kneepads has a bit of crit chance on there.
03:04On the Fox's Prayer.
03:06It's just the best that I've got.
03:08I want crit damage.
03:09In all honesty.
03:09We've got crit damage mods on the build.
03:11It's just an all-out damage build.
03:13And it is going to work well on these sort of builds.
03:15Now let's go show you some gameplay of this in action.
03:18And kind of show you the gameplay loop.
03:20It's not much of a gameplay loop.
03:22You're basically looking to suppress enemies.
03:24To proc the extra damage target out of cover.
03:27With an LMG.
03:28You'll naturally suppress enemies anyway.
03:30So in a way.
03:31You don't even need to think about it.
03:33But we'll do some gameplay.
03:34And we'll talk about it.
03:35And after the gameplay.
03:35Like I said.
03:36There's something I'm very excited.
03:37In using this on.
03:39We will talk about that.
03:41What we're going to do.
03:42To get you some gameplay.
03:43Is we're going to go over.
03:45To our priority objectives.
03:47We're going to pick a mission.
03:49Here.
03:49And we're going to decrypt it.
03:50And we'll go and do whatever mission.
03:52This says we should do.
03:53Which is Potomac Event Center.
03:55And we'll do that on Heroic.
03:57And we'll talk you through.
03:59Like I said.
03:59The sort of gameplay loop of the build.
04:01But just go shoot things.
04:03It's not a difficult gun to use.
04:05There's nothing too special about it.
04:06You're going to be suppressing enemies.
04:08And you'll be giving you and your team more damage.
04:10Definitely good in team format.
04:12There has been questions.
04:13Like will it stack.
04:14If multiple people use it.
04:15I highly doubt it.
04:16Not tested it.
04:17There's been questions.
04:18Like can you refresh it.
04:19So just one more look at the gun.
04:22What I mean by refresh it.
04:23When you disorient an enemy.
04:25Once you suppress them.
04:25You get the 30% damage target.
04:27That'll cover for 15 seconds.
04:28What happens if you do it again.
04:30Within that 15 seconds.
04:31Will it kind of refresh the timer.
04:33No it won't.
04:33That 15 seconds has to run out.
04:36But then there's no cooldown on it.
04:37You can suppress the next enemy.
04:39To get the 15 seconds back again.
04:41But you can't just keep on.
04:42Sort of like refreshing the timer.
04:44By keep on doing it.
04:45If that makes sense.
04:46And also with other teammates.
04:48You're not going to stack it.
04:50To get like 60% damage target.
04:52Out of cover or anything like that.
04:54So bear that in mind.
04:56So again.
04:58The aim.
04:58Gameplay loop of the build.
05:00It's just going to be just kill things.
05:02There's nothing you need to really think about.
05:05Apart from killing things.
05:08So many builds to still work on.
05:11You're probably sitting on a build.
05:13You can just throw this straight onto.
05:15You are looking to suppress an enemy though.
05:17I'm hoping we can actually do that.
05:19On this mission.
05:24To suppress an enemy.
05:26They've got to kind of like be on cover.
05:28Covered.
05:29Peek in.
05:29And then as you shoot them.
05:30You'll suppress them.
05:31That's what we're looking for.
05:34This might not be the best faction to do it on.
05:37Outcasts quite naturally stay out of cover.
05:45Let's get that decoy to look at.
05:47Oh.
05:47Can we suppress him?
05:52No.
05:53He's sort of suppressed.
05:54But fake suppressed.
06:02He's got our number.
06:03That's for sure.
06:04Let's give him another decoy.
06:05Let's try and suppress him.
06:06He isn't cover there.
06:11No.
06:12Still not getting suppressed.
06:16You'll know it.
06:16Oh.
06:17He got even confused.
06:17He got suppressed then.
06:18So now you can see at the bottom.
06:20We've got the icon on our HUD.
06:22That 15 seconds where we get the 30% detox.
06:26Just trying to get an example of how this works with the suppression and everything.
06:29Not that you need it.
06:30I'm sure you understand what suppressed enemies means.
06:34But because it confuses them.
06:35It disorientates them like a banshee.
06:37It's quite easy to see when you suppress them.
06:42It sometimes also comes up with the text like suppressed.
06:46But shoot them when they're kind of in and around cover.
06:49You'll suppress them.
06:50You'll get the extra damage for 15 seconds.
06:52That's basically it.
06:53We're now going to play this mission naturally without trying to show it.
06:56And see if we can just do that naturally as we play.
07:01Without trying to force it.
07:08The enemy was over here somewhere, right?
07:11Is he hiding?
07:13Oh, there he is.
07:14Oh, it's one of them again as well.
07:19I've got to say 250 mag.
07:21That's pretty decent.
07:24Quite a large mag size.
07:33Attention.

07:38Defend them at all costs.
07:41Well, at least now we know the strategist is home.
07:52We're not going to stop shooting.
07:53We're going to see how long this lasts.

08:15I'd better start playing good.
08:16Otherwise, you're just going to say my gameplay is terrible.

08:22It's quite hard to suppress anything now.
08:23I will say that.
08:26The enemy is just dying so quick.
08:29Nothing's really getting suppressed.
08:33I think it's going to work great in escalations, though.
08:37Because in escalations, I think that's where it's going to shine with this gun.
08:42After this gameplay, I'm going to talk about why.
08:45Because I'm very excited about this gun for one reason.
08:48I'll actually start talking about it now.
08:50And then I'll show you the build we might be throwing it on.
08:54But in escalations, the enemies are their tanky.
08:57Especially if you're doing tier 10 escalation.
09:00And they're not just going to die instantly all the time.
09:02And quite often, they go into cover.
09:04They're always going to cover.
09:06It's quite easy to suppress an enemy as well when you're playing tier 10 escalation.
09:09So, you're going to be able to proc the extra detox very, very often.
09:15Like, very often.
09:17And I think that's where this gun and talent might shine.
09:22We are currently looking at our tier 10 escalation strategy.
09:26And trying to improve it with a lot more damage.
09:30That's something we're doing.
09:31And this has come at such a good time.
09:34Because it fits straight into what we're looking to achieve.
09:39And we're actually looking at throwing the gun on a support build.
09:44We played two DPS, two support on our tier 10s.
09:51And it could fit onto any of our support builds.
09:54We're going to be going...
09:55We're going to be removing our refactor we normally use.
09:57It can go on like the refactor.
09:59We're going to go a healer instead.
10:01And we're going to have an ongoing directive Banshee.
10:04Now, even the ongoing directive Banshee...
10:07We'll show you our current Banshee build after this run.
10:10Or our healer.
10:13Is where this gun's going to go.
10:16And part of the run, they're just going to be looking to suppress enemies for us.
10:20While doing their other supported related tasks.
10:23And just keep on giving the DPS even more damage.
10:27And the DPS's damage is just going to go insane.
10:31That's the goal.
10:31That's what I'm most excited about, this gun.
10:34Like, I personally...
10:36Would I just throw it on a DPS build myself?
10:38I don't know.
10:40Like, judging by this right now...
10:42No.
10:43Not for heroic content.
10:44Like, I think I've suppressed one enemy the whole time so far.
10:50So...
10:51I'm not really finding it that effective.
10:55But it could just be the faction as well.
10:57Like I said before, outcasts are naturally quite in the open.

11:12That 15 seconds lasts quite a while.
11:14You know, just remember, like I said, I can't refresh that while it's active.
11:18Like, you've got to wait for it to go and suppress something again.
11:20It's just about to go now.
11:22It's just gone.
11:23So, at this point, we could suppress someone else if we wanted to, to get it back.
11:32But I will show you another build this could work on as well.
11:35I've recently put together a Pestilence build.
11:38This might work pretty well on that.
11:41You'll notice I'm not fully taking advantage of our Stryker stacks right now.
11:45More for the fact that there's nothing tanky and everything just dies so quick.
11:48We're just struggling to stack.
11:50I don't think it'd be an issue in higher tier escalation where the enemies are more tankier.
11:56You get your stacks up on Stryker very quick.
11:59So, Stryker builds, Tipping Scales builds, Coco builds.
12:05It's going to work on any DPS build, in all honesty.
12:12Sometimes there's pieces that come out and you kind of want to build around the exotic.
12:18I don't think this is really one of them.
12:20Like, you could argue Glass Cannon as well, maybe.
12:23Because it gives you more amplified.
12:25It doesn't give you amplified damage, but it gives you multiplicative damage with Detox.
12:29So, like I said earlier, the Fox's Prayer pairs well with it.
12:32Glass Cannon might pair well with it as well on the chest piece.
12:36That's my Pestilence build, I'll have a Glass Cannon chest piece on that, so it could work.
12:41It could kind of overperform on those sort of builds, but it's just going to fit anywhere.
12:46Any DPS build that can hold an LMG.
12:49Not much thought process to it, guys.
12:52Give it a go, see what you think.
12:54Basically, on your current DPS builds.
13:16I think I've counted twice that we've suppressed an enemy so far.
13:23I think what's going to be more important is kind of what we were just talking about.
13:27It's going to be like the...
13:27Oh, we just got him.
13:28There we go, we got him.
13:30It's going to be more about the types of content you want to use it for.
13:33It seems a very good gun to work in particular strategies on certain pieces of content.
13:40Again, that's what I'm most excited for.
13:42Getting this into our tier 10 escalation strategy on the right person.
13:46Buffing the DPS's damage.
13:47That's where I think this gun is going to shine.
13:53And it should become a huge part of our tier 10 strategy, I think.
13:56I can't wait to test it.
13:58We're currently in the middle of getting these builds together.
14:04So there's nothing I can test soon.
14:06I kind of want to test it now, but we're working on the builds.
14:10The readjustment.
14:14Gotta love the mag size, though.
14:21It's a real good gun.
14:22It feels great.
14:36Just wish I could suppress more targets a little bit easier.
14:39But again, the content's a little bit easy for the build.
14:42I know you've seen prototype builds today as well.
14:45You don't need to think this has to be a prototype build.
14:50This will go on any DPS build, like I said, you're currently using.
14:57And in terms of augments, if you do have prototype builds, again, it depends what build you're using, what build
15:02you're throwing this on.
15:03It's going to work on an all-echo build.
15:05It's going to work on an all-paradox build.
15:08Like, the mag size is huge anyway.
15:10But if you put it on, like, a paradox build, you're never going to stop firing.
15:15It'll work on, yeah.
15:17The support builds I'm thinking about have different augments, again, for how those builds work.
15:21We're going to be using this gun more as utility and just buffing the DPS, so.
15:28Two more areas to go.
15:31And we'll take a look at that.

18:02Your biggest challenge with this gun is right there.
18:05The type of content you've got to use it for.
18:11You know, you need to be able to suppress targets with it, basically.
18:14We've done it three or four times during this mission.
18:17We haven't really took full advantage of it at all.
18:19I do really think in a tier 10 escalation, though, it's going to absolutely shine.
18:27We're at the end there now.
18:28So, let me show you what I'm talking about.
18:30So, we have this F.I. Banshee build right now.
18:34And we are changing this to an OD Banshee build.
18:38But it's going to work quite well on this build in our tier 10 strategy.
18:41At the minute, they just have a Sweet Dreams on.
18:44They'll pop some red bars, purple bars every now and then.
18:46But that's not really important at all.
18:49So, we could replace that with this new gun.
18:52And then, all of a sudden, what they're going to be doing is they're going to be
18:54bansheeing the enemies for us.
18:56They'll be doing their normal thing.
18:57However, in between that now, they can try and also suppress enemies with the gun.
19:03And if they do get an enemy on suppression, that's going to give the DPS players 15 seconds
19:10of 30% damage to target our cover, which will be amazing.
19:13It's going to be able to buff the damage even more.
19:15So, this build doesn't really buff the DPS at all.
19:18We do use another build.
19:19At the minute, it's Refactor.
19:20But we're going to be changing this to a healer instead.
19:23But this is something we use to give...
19:25Well, they do buff the damage there.
19:27Sorry, with Fi, it is giving some buffs to the DPS.
19:30Sorry, so it helps buff it even more.
19:31But same with Refactor.
19:32We're using Pathic Resolve on the Refactor, the 20% one, the named one.
19:36It could also go on this instead of the Scorpio and do the same thing.
19:39In between putting skills out, in between doing what the Refactor does for us.
19:44It could also try and suppress enemies to further buff the DPS.
19:47And that's where I'm most excited by it.
19:49We're going to change this to a healer build, but whatever.
19:51I think it could work great on support builds.
19:53So, not just DPS builds.
19:55And throw this on a support build.
19:57If you just go back to the talent, you don't actually need to kill anything, right?
20:04It's not...
20:05Oh, I've sucked the gun off now.
20:06Let's go and find it again.
20:08There it is, the Vertigo.
20:09So, it's not about, like, killing the talent.
20:13It's just suppressing them.
20:14So, you don't need to get kills.
20:15It can work on any build.
20:17The healer build, the support build, the DPS build.
20:19It's very versatile.
20:20So, you can just throw it on a current DPS build.
20:22But at the same time, you can throw it on a support build.
20:24And make that support build even more of a support.
20:27Kind of like how you use the Scorpio and how you use other things.
20:30You can throw this on just trying to disorient enemies to give your team 15 seconds of extra damage.
20:36And then, you'd see that marker on your HUD as well because it's also working for you.
20:40When you see the marker get removed from your HUD, try and suppress another target in between the other support
20:46roles you're doing.
20:47And that's, like I said, again, that's where I'm most excited to see how this works.
20:51But that is the new Vertigo, guys.
20:53There's some gameplay of it.
20:54As terrible as it was.
20:56I apologize.
20:57And there's a couple of build ideas.
20:59I've thrown it on that Striker build.
21:00I said I'd show you some other couple of builds I could get where this would be thrown onto it.
21:04But we have a, keep on going, I do have a Negotiate a Dilemma build.
21:10It could work on that as well.
21:11Four-piece Negotiate.
21:12Any DPS build that works with an LMG, like I said.
21:16We have a Coco build.
21:18Four-piece Coco, Fox's Prayer, Cheska Glass Cannon on the chess piece.
21:22All crits.
21:22It could work well on that.
21:25We have this Pestilence LMG build as well.
21:28It could really do well on this.
21:29Haven't tested it on this yet because I think it'll work better with the Striker stacks and stuff.
21:34A build like this is great for the Pestilence though because the Pestilence really improves the ticks on the space
21:38damage.
21:39It could work well on a build like this as well.
21:41There's, again, Fox's Prayer knee pads for Detox.
21:44Got Glass Cannon on the chess piece to amplify damage there.
21:47It's probably going to work very well on this build.
21:49You'll be hitting very hard with the gun.
21:52It's just getting the enemies suppressed, I guess.
21:54But, yeah.
21:55That's the new Exotic.
21:56Loads of different builds you can use.
