00:05We're going to start south and head north. Let's go to New York City.
00:08We're going to see up to a three-foot storm surge, potentially near LaGuardia,
00:13as water gets bottled up on the west side of the Long Island Sound.
00:18We won't see as much of a storm surge down near Battery Park.
00:22Could be more limited there.
00:23One to two inches of rain, 40 to 50 mph gusts.
00:26Montauk, out on the east end of Long Island, a fierce storm with 60 to 80 mph gusts,
00:32three to five inches of rain, and a two to four-foot storm surge,
00:35primarily on the northeast portion of the end of Long Island.
00:40Cape Cod will face the wrath of this nor'easter with 60 to 70 mph gusts,
00:45three to four inches of rain, a little more just southwest of there,
00:48and two to four-foot storm surge.
00:50The worst of this will ramp up Friday night, continuing through Saturday into Saturday evening.
00:54In Boston, we're looking at 50 to 60 mph gusts and two to four inches of rain,
00:58a slightly more modest storm surge, although there will be some problems.
01:02And in Portland, Maine, 40 to 50 mph gusts, one to two inches of rain,
01:06and a one to two-foot storm surge.
