00:26points to get this thing to go over.
00:28So, I thought the Jets proved a lot last week, even though they lost that game to Green Bay.
00:33I thought last week was their let's prove it week.
00:36And I think they proved it.
00:37I think the Jets are going to be a better team than they were last season.
00:40But I just think they're running into an awful spot here in Detroit.
00:44The Lions are mad.
00:46They just got beat down.
00:48The first game of the week, the first game of the season, they didn't play well against
00:51New Orleans.
00:52And while the Jets defense apparently is very good, I still think their offense,
00:57this leaves a little bit to be desired.
00:58And again, as we talked about the other day, my fear is, you know, if I close my eyes and
01:02sort of dream this game, my fear is Detroit's up like, you know, 13-3 and then 16-3.
01:09And then I wonder if the Jets can come back.
01:12You know, like, if the Jets have to get one dimensional, Joe, I think that it's probably
01:17a problem for a lot of teams.
01:18But I think it's especially a problem for them because we have yet to see the Geno Smith
01:22four interception game.
01:23And you know that that's coming at some point this season.
01:25It's come the last two years.
01:26Well, yeah.
01:28And again, maybe it's this week.
01:30Maybe it's not.
01:31Maybe the Jets play well against Detroit.
01:32I can only give you my opinion.
01:34And my opinion is this is one game that I have penciled for a blowout where I think Detroit
01:39gets right this week.
01:40It doesn't mean I love Detroit.
01:41It doesn't mean I think that they're going anywhere.
01:43I just think the spot is bad for New York, a loss to the Packers, a game they should
01:49have won.
01:51They should feel good about themselves and they should feel like they're in it.
01:54I'm not sure they feel that way after blowing that game.
01:57And I think the Lions are an angry team.
01:58And I think Dan Campbell puts the foot down.
02:01And you said total wise, the Lions will score in this game.
02:06Will they give up a lot of points to the Jets?
02:09My opinion on that, Joe, well, you'll know in the first half.
02:12This game has got to be close in the first half for it to go.

02:21I know New Orleans did, but I think New Orleans' quarterback is starting to level up here a

02:27And I don't think Geno Smith is at that level that Shuck is.
02:30I think Shuck is now pushing ahead into that top 15 quarterback range in the NFL.
02:36Not top 10, but he's ahead of the Geno Smiths.
02:39He's ahead of the Mariotas.
02:41He's starting to move ahead into the Baker Mayfield's range.
02:46I like what I've seen from Shuck.
02:47I think he's played way better than I would have ever thought.
